Game Of Thrones

So, who do you think is going to die in tomorrow's episode?
As far as I'm concerned,
- Bronn, for trying to do what Cersei told him to, to the disappointment of numerous viewers;
- Tormund and Brienne, after actually loving each other, plus Podrick, in some kind of ambush that would reveal a new enemy that will side with Cersei;
- Gilly, from an illness of some kind, which will make Samwell go nuts and become more unpredictable for the last two episodes

PS I haven't read the books.

I haven't read the books, though I intend to after the show ends. So I'm not really familiar with that.. I just felt it was the hardest to keep interest in.

I'm doing the same for two reasons. First and most important, still waiting for Martin to finish the damn thing, if ever. And the second is while the first 3 seasons follow the books very closely, they depart and later overtake the books. So still worth reading and discovering the differences.

I don't think anyone dies tomorrow... I don't think there will be a battle at all in fact. That is just based on the choice of director.. It will be a slower episode in which nothing too major happens.

He will die before he finishes the last book, and Tool will release two albums in that time frame.

I also think nobody will. I think it's gonna be another quiet episode to (hopefully) set up for an epic two-part finale that will make us forget all about the disappointment of The Shortest Long Night.

I don't remember exactly what happened in season 3, so I can't argue about that. As for the last seasons, yes maybe they are still good, but they are not like the first seasons where nothing was predictable and nowhere was safe. The show now is too generic and most characters lost their identities, a lot of dialogs are just cringy repetition of popular quotes from previous seasons.
The only things that were significantly improved IMO are the battles, there was no real battles in the first seasons and now we have the battle of the bastards, the Dothraki and so on.

I agree, the 8th season has been a total bummer so far. Got was a show that lived from intriguingstuff and crazy story twists. Now it's just a fast and boring action filled sh.. Show.

Kinda like Lost in its final season

Game of Thrones lost it in season six. Some big moments since then, but storywise it's been bad. Season five wasn't as good as the four first, but certainly better than what came after.

My rankings would easily be: 4 > 2 > 3/1 > 6 > 8 (so far) > 5 > 7

Season 5 is pretty bad, especially the first half of the season. It never reaches the lameness and blockbuster movie feel of S7, it just felt like the show was spinning its wheels. So far I have found Season 8 to be a breath of fresh air, albeit quite toothless.

9 and a half hours!!

I'm too excited for this episode, I know it won't be as good as I'm hoping for.

I like his heavy metal more than the Rastafarian Targaryen.
I have a friend who loved that whole video of the Rastafarian Targaryen thing... I was forced to watch it while I was trying to leave at 11pm following a binge session of season 4... Was not impressed seeing as I had to work early the next morning.

It was cringe af.

As I predicted.. A bit of a slower episode. With some very unexpected moments.
Rhaegal’s death came out of nowhere. A true WTF moment. And Missandei’s capture and execution was very unexpected. That whole last scene was awesome though.

It seems as though the Jon vs Dany storyline is gaining traction.

I think Cersei ends up dying in the next episode setting up a Jon Vs. Dany clash in the finale. I’m very sure that Jaime will be the one to end Cersei, either that or she kills him, in which Arya will be her demise. Drogon will die next episode after killing Euron.

Despite the initial rejection, I still think Arya will end up with Gendry. But this would only be after Cersei dies.

Jon will win the final clash with Dany, but will decline the throne, leaving it to Gendry. We’ll see how it goes...

Did anyone else notice something extremely fishy about 15 minutes in...?

Someone left a Starbucks cup on the table. :eek:
