Well, generally the profs I know aren't very arrogant, they're rather jovial guys. Now maybe I'm biased since I'm doing a PhD myself, but never mind. The reason why I'm posting here is I've had some pints tonight and consider myself qualified.

I did get very pissed on the last three weekends. I need to step back a bit. I feel absolutely terrible right now.

Wow, I think that drunken post was almost as bad as mine. And like my attempt at posting back then, I bet you have little or no memory of doing that. ;)
 
Well, I woke up this morning remembering I had typed something, and that it did look like this. I ended up hoping I had posted it here and not mailed it to someone, and I was lucky.  :S
 
i didi t, been a long fucking time, but finally i have the opportuiney to put out a drunken post!!  phew, glad tha is off my shoulders!!  I think i actually made 2 fuck buddies tonite, we'll hafta tsee how that works out.... the band was awesome, who knew you coulc take prince or bon jovi and make it sound thrashish.... dunno if that is even a word.  the only real downer of the nite was  tha tid idndn have chips or popcorn at home when i finally made it back-- tho thank god or whover for delivery pizza. 
 
A beer drunk is cheap and easy, but there is something completely different and a little nicer about a hard liquor drunk.  It's easy, cause it takes so little volume of fluid...and it is a little more relaxing.
 
Meh, I think it depends.  I get drunk on beer and am all woozy. tho a good tequila drunk makes me happy, relaxed and still feeling well the next morn.  (ok, other than the morn i woke up with a black eye and cracked ribs).  Not whiskey, that shit kicks my ass.  Tonite, it's been tequila and some lime juice.  not a bad mix.  a happy buzz has been rolling along for the last few hours!!
 
Last time I had Tequila was during a "slammer session". After quite a few I was felling pretty good then all of a sudden like a hot flush running through me, I became almost paralytic.

Never touched a drop of the stuff since.
 
Oh, yes, tequila can be tricky!  you will be rolling along just fine and happy, then BAM, it smokes you.
