... and the best part of it it's the fact it is a well balanced and utterly realistic set (not to mention quite good). That, of course, if some sort of downtuning would occur, of course (CSIT, SSOASS, SL are way too hard for Bruce to handle properly nowadays in standard E tuning).
That being said here's how I'd order it:

  1. Caught Somewhere In Time
  2. The Final Frontier
  3. Brave New World
  4. The Book Of Souls
  5. Still Life
  6. Killers
  7. Dance Of Death
  8. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
  9. No Prayer For The Dying
  10. Powerslave
  11. Iron Maiden

Either that or the complete Somewhere In Time album. Hell, I think I´m going to have that one tonight! Somewhere In Time and SSOASS after each other, imagining it´s a private live gig. :D
And the 3 Senjutsu closing epics as encore.

I'd buy that in a no time. But instead of the 3 Senjutsu tracks would go with the 5 "mandatory" songs from their previous records (Iron Maiden, Wrathchild, TNOTB, The Trooper and TMTM) to give it an "era" feeling to it,

I would want them to play the entire SSOASS album track by track. A short concert, but for me the coolest thing they could ever do live.
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son played in its entirety makes all sense due to its conceptual nature. As matter of fact I previously defended that in this following thread https://forum.maidenfans.com/threads/change-some-of-the-maiden-setlists.70915/page-12 .

Seventh Tour Of A Seventh Tour:
  1. Monnchild
  2. Infinite Dreams
  3. Can I Play With Madness?
  4. The Evil That Men Do
  5. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
  6. The Prophecy
  7. The Clairvoyant
  8. Only The Good Die Young
  9. The Trooper
  10. Still Life
  11. Killers
  12. Two Minutes To Midnight
  13. Wasted Years
  14. Heaven Can Wait
  15. Iron Maiden

  1. The Number Of The Beast
  2. Hallowed Be Thy Name
  3. Run To The Hills

That being said Seventh Son is 44 minutes long and there still could be played a ton of tracks after it.

Thought of a setlist that would be a mix of the 80's songs and reunion (+Fear Of The Dark). Tried to keep it realistic.

1. The Wicker Man
2. 2 Minutes To Midnight
3. These Colours Don't Run
4. The Trooper
5. Revelations
6. Infinite Dreams
7. Dance Of Death
8. Wasted Years
9. The Talisman
10. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
11. Fear Of The Dark
12. Iron Maiden
----------------------------------------
13. The Number Of The Beast
14. Blood Brothers
15. Hallowed Be Thy Name

If they indeed go on a Senjutsu / Deep cuts tour next year...

1. Senjutsu
2. Stratego
3. The Writing On The Wall
4. No Prayer For The Dying
5. The Trooper
6. Days Of Future Past
7. The Time Machine (Would rather have one of the other new long songs, but Bruce said that he wants to play it, so...)
8. Stranger In A Strange Land
9. Rainmaker
10. Infinite Dreams
11. Hell On Earth
12. Fear Of The Dark
13. Iron Maiden
--------------------------------------
14. Alexander The Great
15. Only The Good Die Young
16. Hallowed Be Thy Name

4 classics, 6 Senjutsu songs and 6 deep cuts. I also picked deep cuts from the middle years of IM, as I think that earlier deep cuts would be problematic tempo-wise these days.

I think they will not drop ''The Number Of The Beast'', but who knows.
''No Prayer For The Dying'' is a great deep cut from the 90's and Bruce loves the vocals on it (it's not a difficult song too), ''Rainmaker'' was a bit of a difficult song for Bruce live in 2003, I think.

Amazing setlist - if you add ''Out Of The Silent Planet'' and ''The Parchment''/''Death Of The Celts''/''Darkest Hour, then this will be my all time favorite setlist of Maiden! :ok:

It was either TNOTB or FOTD. Even if I would prefer TNOTB to stay over FOTD, I dropped it because of the recent timing issues.

My take on the Senjutsu tour.
  1. Senjutsu
  2. Stratego
  3. Writing on the Wall
  4. Stranger in a Strange Land
  5. Trooper
  6. Time Machine
  7. The Parchment
  8. The Prisoner
  9. The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg
  10. Hell on Earth
  11. Fear of the Dark
  12. Iron Maiden
13. Number of the Beast
14. Hallowed be Thy Name
15. Running Free

These are some of my justifications.
  • Bruce said that he would like to do the Prisoner and Stranger again. Seen as he is in charge of set lists nowadays, I thought that they would be obvious picks.
  • Benjamin Breeg is a bit easier on his voice than some songs and it could be classed as a deep cut.
  • I can’t see other songs from Senjutsu being played other than those on my list. Bruce loves Time Machine and the other epics seem like obvious and popular choices.
