10 epics!
I just think that all the other songs on the album have live potential. "Darkest Hour"... I mean if they do play the album live it'll be a 'lighters in the air' moment, sure, but outside of the album context I dunno. I'd rather hear the other songs + a couple deep cuts + some classics than use up an extra seven minutes for "Darkest Hour". I get your point though. I like the song, it would be fun, but I would rather cut it and save room for something else instead.9/10 Senjutsu songs... even though I don't rate Darkest Hour super highly I'd be pretty disappointed if they were that close to playing the full album and didn't.
Additionally: this setlist was formatted for maximum live album potential. You can split this really well across two CDs or three records with a fairly high amount of space fully utilized. I imagine that they would perform a big concert and record and release it a la Rock in Rio and the like for this one. Perhaps to bring this setlist to as many places as they can, they'll perform a lesser number of concerts in central cities in various countries and states, and space out when the concerts take place (every four days instead of every two days for instance). Would be lit.I will continue to obsess over this upcoming tour and how best to set up the setlist. Here's another attempt, although granted it's probably too long for them to actually play.

If you remove “Infinite Dreams” you could add “Darkest Hour” in its place, but I would rather hear ID personally.I get what you mean, it's a tricky one to place in a typical Maiden setlist's structure. I guess it'd be early in the set, maybe five or six songs in (like ATSS, CotD, Coming Home) but weirdly it just doesn't suit that position to me. It feels a bit too... heavy? dramatic? to be early in the set, like it'd be a real momentum killer, but it feels well-placed on the album.
To play the whole album live during the album tour next year is the best thing they could do IMO, because 1) they played a Hits tour for 3 years and 2) because they don't change them much and we'll hear the same old classics (with maybe one or two surprises) -> the second argument is also the reason why I'm not sure if I want more Hits tours (for the 90's, I want for sure). New album is the better option, especially at the stage of their career.Senjutsu Tour - Realistic Set
