Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

Since the sides on the new tour poster have changed, I thought what if the Senjutsu and Somewhere In Time parts are swapped (plus a couple song changes). Don't think this will happen for real.

1. Senjutsu
2. Days Of Future Past
3. Deja Vu
4. Wasted Years
5. Heaven Can Wait
6. The Prisoner
7. Alexander The Great
8. The Evil That Men Do
9. The Time Machine
10. Hell On Earth
11. Fear Of The Dark
12. Iron Maiden
--------------------------------------
13. Caught Somewhere In Time
14. The Trooper
15. The Writing On The Wall

I tried to make a Future Past 2 setlist. I would change a few things:
1. Caught Somewhere in Time
2. Stranger in a Strange land
3. The Writing on the wall
4. Days of Future Past
5. The Time Machine
6. The Prisoner
7. Stratego
8. The Evil That Men Do

9. Heaven Can Wait
10. Alexander the Great
11. Hallowed Be Thy Name
12. Iron Maiden
Encore
13. Hell on Earth
14. The Trooper
15. Wasted Years
Stratego and HoE are my favs off Senjutsu. Hallowed and Evil are just better than FotD and Madness.

A religion themed setlist

1. The Wicker Man
2. Holy Smoke
3. Revelations
4. Montsegur
5. For The Greater Good Of God
6. Judas Be My Guide
7. The Fallen Angel
8. Starblind
9. Infinite Dreams
10. No Prayer For The Dying
11. Hallowed Be Thy Name
12. Hell On Earth
13. Iron Maiden
-----------------------------------------
14. The Number Of The Beast
15. The Clairvoyant
16. Heaven Can Wait

Here is a potential 2025 “Hits Tour” setlist that perhaps they’ll do:
  1. Prowler
  2. Killers
  3. The Number of the Beast
  4. The Trooper
  5. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
  6. Brave New World
  7. Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter
  8. Only the Good Die Young
  9. To Tame A Land
  10. 22 Acacia Avenue
  11. Run to the Hills
  12. Phantom of the Opera
  13. Iron Maiden
Encore

14. Dance of Death
15. Die With Your Boots On
16. Hallowed be thy Name

Alternates for OTGDY are The Clairvoyant and Infinite Dreams.

Alternate for Phantom is Fear of the Dark.

I’d prefer to hear Still Life instead of To Tame A Land, but since that song is in the air lately I figure they’d more likely play TTAL.

I also imagine they’ll ignore Somewhere in Time again because of the Future Past.

My dreamt setlist would be very epic, like that, for example :

7) The Aftermath
8) Stranger In A Strange Land
9) Paschendale
10) Montsegur
11) For The Greater Good Of God
12) Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
13) Sign Of The Cross
14) Dance Of Death

Encore 1 :

15) Rime Of The Ancient Mariner

Super epic! Like a two-night show with intermissions epic.

My dream setlist. I'm lucky I've seen most of them live at least once. The green ones are the ones I've never seen live. If this was the setlist I would go and see them in every city in Europe. Till now I've only went to London many times + when they came to Athens.

1. Caught Somewhere in Time
2. Ghost of the Navigator
3. Aces High ( I like many show openers)
4. Still Life
5. Dance of Death
6. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
7. The Evil that men do
8. 22 Acacia Avenue
9. Phantom of the Opera
10. Prowler
11. Out of the silent planet ( it's my dream to see that live)

12. Hallowed be thy Name
13. Iron Maiden ( I just put it here to be realistic, not one of my favs)

1. Moonchild
2. Hell on Earth

I bet this confuses people

So got this idea from A Real Live One (or dead, but whichever) where the focus is on songs from 1986-92. Maiden decides in 2011 that after Maiden England Tour 2012-13, that while there is no ambition to do a full extensive 90s tour, there is a will to briefly nod towards that aforementioned decade. So, in November 2013 following statement is released on the official site (with no writing mishaps and stronger English spirit):

mEDievil Maiden Tour 2014

Iron Maiden announces that they are on the road again next year under a brand new theme. There will be a focus on five studio albums from the middle point of their honourable and illustrious career (Somewhere In Time - The X-Factor or albums 6-10 out of 15).

Steve Harris comments: "With this Maiden England thing having been going on for about 18 months now we decided we didn´t want to do third leg based on that theme, so we mixed things up a little bit for next year. We are going to play some tunes we haven´t done for over two decades, and while some of them may not be the most popular or memorable ones, I daresay from experience that there will some bloody effing positive reactions from the crowds all around (and if not, do check the pulse of the person beside you)! 2014 can´t arrive soon enough!

Adds manager Rod Smallwood: "I am very much looking forward to next year because this is really a marvellous opportunity to do some justice to the 90s songs while keeping the essentials from this Maiden England theme still on the show. I welcome that opportunity with open arms, to uphold our fine tradition of history based tours in front of the most loyal fans on the planet is a priviledge beyond belief. As there is no new material to play (for the time being, as we are heading into the studio after the tour, BUT, more of that in due course!), there is a will to do something new and visit the 90s as we know it is some of our most devoted supporters dearest wish. We felt the need to add something fresh to the show and decided to wrap up our studio catalogue in a live environment (not withstanding the fact that the studio album sequence is still very much ongoing!).

It is going to be fantastic way to round up our career thus far, a mix of blast from the past, all the way from the late 80s (their height of their power), to early 90s pure rock n roll, concluding into the middle of the decade from where we basically started this style of the momentous epics. There will be something for everyone without forgetting a certain classic from that period, so all our fans will be more than pleased! This is only a one summer thing, so make sure you come to see us as some of the songs we do will never appear on the setlist again."

That announcement preceeds a concert list starting from the UK with a mini tour spanning through the second half of April, following dates (in May-June) in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Germany Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia & Croatia. Then in early July heading over the Atlantic to a brief spell in Canada and the States (east coast), finishing in South America for a couple of weeks. Tour ends mid-August.

(To be continued) Somewhere In May... exact date is The X-Factor in this case, but certainly not 7th day of the 5th month.

Man, this Maiden multiverse with all these alternate realities (tours) is getting too much. The time-space continuum is in danger of getting ripped apart!
