It's good but I think it would work better with Wrathchild instead of ATG.

Since others have already re-activated this one, I'm not feeling too guilty by making another list... ;) The visual side is pretty similar with another "fanboy vision" of mine in this thread, but... These sets of mine kind of balance between what could have been possible, with more or less daydreaming when it comes to certain songs. It's not an outline for anything I'd expect, but merely a vision of what kind of a show they could realistically put together on an alternative reality, given the fact how great TLOTB turned out and all. Not too realistic, but some of the ideas are...if not almost there, at least something you can assosiate with Maiden shows if you use a bit of childish imagination here, haha!

"Aleister Crowley, religious sex... ancient, ancient Egypt... and the English hippogriff by G.K Chesterton" or alternatively "black magic and shit, that's cool - REVELATIONS" (- Bruce Dickinson, various concerts during Give Me 'Ed Till I'm Dead tour 2003), myths, aeroplanes & aliens Tour

The stage has angular shapes on the top and sides of the risers. Everything is covered with white, icy drapes and the backdrop features icy landscape. A moon is red and bleeding on the sky. Behind the drums, on the top of the stage, looms a crystal ball with smoke inside it. You can also see familiar images and shapes from the 7th Son Sleeve artwork within...

Seven deadly sins... seven ways to win...

1. Moonchild (w/ pyro, crystal ball)
*BOOM* You already know how this one kicks off! While the basic setup and shape of the stage is the one we've used to for years now, they've finally added some stairs to the left side (Nicko's right) of the tops, allowing Adrian to finally climb up and duplicate the 7th Tour thing with him and Bruce standing on the risers when the song starts.
2. The Evil That Men Do (w/ pyro at the end)
Another throwback to 7th Tour. While CIPWM worked perfectly fine as a second song during Maiden England tour, TETMD suits this set much better and continues the mystical and gloomy atmosphere very well here, while being a catchy crowd-pleaser at the same time.
3. The Number of the Beast (w/ pyro, flames, baphomet, etc.)
Familiar setting and even more familiar song, this time a bit earlier in the set.
4. Stranger in a Strange Land (w/ dry ice) / Ghost of the Navigator (w/ sea themed backdrop, should look great with the icy stage) / Infinite Dreams
5. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
(w/ scribe Eddie+crystal ball, candles, pyro, dry ice)
Re-worked version of the Maiden England setting; while the props might be just a tad bit smaller than on Maiden England tour, they'd be a little bit more "sophisticated" and detailed.
6. The Clairvoyant (w/ crystal ball)

The stage goes dark. The backdrop shows starry sky with the red moon as the only source of dim light. The icy drapes are removed, revealing a ruined temple-esque stage, sort of a crossbreeding between TBOS, TLOTB, SBIT/World Slavery, DOD and EdHuntour stages... Naturally, there are obvious and less obvious details and hints here and there, with all kinds of Maiden and Eddie references. Torches, similar to TBOS stage set, light up.

Here is the soul of a man...

7. If Eternity Should Fail (w/ torches, dry ice)
"--for me, eternity is nothing but a short while..."
8. Flight of Icarus (w/Icarus, pyro +Bruce's jetpack)
9. Dance of Death/The Book of Souls (w/ torches)
10. Lord of the Flies (w/ impaled head of a pig on a spike behind the drum riser - it IS a bit Spinal Tap, isn't it...)
11. Revelations
12. Sign of the Cross
(w/ cross, pyro)
13. Iron Maiden (w/ pyro, torches, big pharaoh/revised grim reaper Eddie)
--
The stage goes dark once again. After a short break the lights illuminate the backdrop with some white and light-blue clouds in it and in front of it, rising behind the drum riser, a giant figure of a wicker man...

Blasting from the PA: revised version of the song "Summer is icumen" from The Wicker Man (1973)... From the movie: "O, God! O, Jesus Christ!"

Spotlights turn to Adrian and the Wicker Man figure...

14. The Wicker Man
(w/ wicker man, torches)
15. Children of the Damned (w/ torches lighting up at the end to burn those little witches...)
16. Powerslave (w/ pyro, walk-on Pharaoh Eddie)

The Wrathchild World Tour 2020-2021

The tour is announced and panic ensues across the forum. It's 2 years of Wrathchild. NO! NEW! ALBUM! But Iron Maiden throws us a curve and comes out with this monster of a setlist that makes absolutely no sense and bares no resemblance to what was originally promised.

Ides of March Tape
1. The Wickerman
2. Two Minutes to Midnight
3. The Fugitive (Harrison Ford as Eddie backdrop)
4. Starblind (ft. incessant debating about which song is proggier)
5. Infinite Dreams
6. Man on the Edge
7. Killers
8. Shadows of the Valley
9. The Evil That Men Do
-- (the stage blackens and sounds of war fill the venue as Eddies Wrathchild Orchestra enters. The next five songs are performed with full Orchestra)
10. Paschendale
11. Hallowed Be Thy Name
12. Empire of the Clouds
13. Fear of the Dark
14. Iron Maiden
---
15. Number of the Beast
16. Death Or Glory (Some sort of monkey Eddie walks on stage)
17. Wasted Years

Also, Starblind will be dropped due to set length.
Yeah, but if Starblind is dropped due to length we miss a key part of the set that involves needless bickering about which of the songs is proggier.

Pretty epic... haha - I included at least one song per album. :)

Ah, this is one of those setlist concepts that are always fun and intriguing to toy with. Personally, especially after LOTB, I don't think there will be "songs all over the place" style best of tour to close their touring career, but something a bit more subtle, as it is with LOTB show and setlist structure. Or, perhaps it's just one more album tour after LOTB and that's it. I know you're not indicating or predicting anything with your list, I just expressed some thoughts around that theme. :p

Anyway, here's my take on The Tour To End All Tours, with a couple of conditions:
1) The structure and song selection follows the familiar Iron Maiden traits, with occasional shake-ups and twists included; they do that once in a while.
2) Not to be too similar with TLOTB or any previous history tour. This is tricky, since you'd want a couple of gems to return, not to forget the obvious ones, keep it surprising and more or less career-spanning... It might make one to understand the often bashed real Maiden setlists a bit better.

I've kinda already done this kind of a set here, but this is a bit more straightforward without too much thought put into an actual stage show.

1. The Wicker Man (just feels like an appropriate opener if you exclude Aces High and Moonchild and I guess Be Quick or be Dead wouldn't make it here... But let's say it's an suitable alternative, at least)
2. The Prisoner/Run to the Hills
3. The Trooper
4. Brighter Than a Thousand Suns/FTGGOG/Paschendale
5. 2 Minutes to Midnight
6. Afraid to Shoot Strangers
--
7. The Number of the Beast
8. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
9. Flight of Icarus
10. Blood Brothers
--
11. Fear of the Dark
12. Killers

First I placed this right after the opener, but on a second thought, it would work very well right after FOTD and as a part of "return to the streets" portion at the end of the main set. It's also a surprising and appropriate nod to very early days of the band.
13. Iron Maiden

14. Powerslave
15. Hallowed be Thy Name
16. Wasted Years

Excluding "Total Eclipse" is criminal. Otherwise good setlist.

Well it wasn't on the album so there's no reason to play it there.
