Some comments and info from Bruce for Tattooed Millionaire album from a 1990 interview for a magazine:
The original version of ''Bring Your Daughter'' sounded a bit dated.

For him, the album is designed to be a very varied one, with a lot of different songs and feels
(so like TMP). An album from the 70's, he called it.

People's expectations are higher now, there are no new sounds now, technically speaking. All is about feel.
He still thinks the same today!

For him, TM is also an album for people who normally wouldn't listen to rock and metal.

There is so much guitar on the album. The idea was - guitar based album with no keyboards
(opposite to TMP and SSOASS).

Janick is such a feel person. He likes to feel comfortable when writing and creating music.

The music on the album was split 50/50 - him and Janick.

''Son Of A Gun'' - Bruce wrote the intro and the riff, he wanted it to sound like Free. Janick liked the riff a lot.
''Dive Dive Dive'' - he wanted to use intro from Run Silent Run Deep movie.
''Hell On Wheels'' - he thinks it's ok. Rod was crazy about it. The AC/DC feel is on purpose.
''Gypsy Road'' - it was written for 10 minutes. It sounds great and he really love it. In terms of singing, its some of the best for him.
''Zulu Lulu'' - he wanted to do something with ''jungle drums'' and to move people, unlike some metal (?).
''No Lies'' - they were pushed for time on the jam session. He's not a big fan of the studio version.
title track - Janick had the riff for it.

They didn't do demos for this album.

He tend to write songs around a chorus.

He thinks it's a good record and Maiden fans should like it.

He wanted to play with Janick since the Samson days. They are mates since then.

He had this album in him for ages. But he couldn't have done it 10 years ago.

The songs are clear and defined. It works because it's different to Maiden and heavy.
Heavy?

Steve thinks it's great and all the guys in Maiden. Steve thinks it will outsell Maiden.

He said Kiske sings a bit like him and he also liked the album. Apparently, there were rumors about him leaving Maiden even back then because of the solo albums within the band.

New ideas and projects excites him. Maiden and solo career are different, one is a band thing.
3 years later, he changed his mind.

Steve suggested Janick to the band after he heard TM. He had never realised how good Janick was. ''Sparks fly when Janick starts to play''.

It's interesting to read his thoughts at the time. He was really enthusiastic about it.

Janick was suggested by Nicko. That's 98% accurate as I heard it in multiple interviews.

Agree.
Different titles, dunno, but he could make different/''new'' covers for each album for them (it's been done before in the metal world). For example his original idea for BTP.

His tour will probably end in December this year and he said the first remix will be out next August. But yeah, I expect him to drop hints about the future of his solo career/albums in interviews. He needs to keep the momentum going, right. And just have to see Maiden's plans, work, ideas.
I want the MBTP cover to be exactly the same, but with three "balls"

Yes, Bruce mentioned it to Tommy Vnce in VH1 in February 1999 when they were iterating each members background. Bruce wanted Janick to join Maiden but was in difficult position and didn´t have the nerve because they were mates etc, then Nicko actually suggested how about that brilliant greezer from Bruce´s band, uh oh. Then Bruce was like "Well, he gets my vote!".

Has anyone got any inkling at all what happened with Roy and Bruce?

I don't think someone here has any more information. Something that hurt Roy's religious beliefs badly because he once posted about being saved by Jesus as reply to Leana on Facebook?
Could be nonsense though, we don't know.

How is that actually? Is there an interview in which Bruce clearly hints that he was thinking of Nikki Sixx for “Tattooed Millionaire” or was that an outside interpretation/rumour?

Nikki Sixx for “Tattooed Millionaire
If I remember right, Sixx said the song was about him in his book the ‘The Heroin Diaries’, although I haven't verified that as it's not a book I’m in any way inclined to read. That said, Mick Wall has a very different account (which I don’t totally buy it as he has an inconsistent record with historical accuracy), where he’s adamant that this story was a cover with some of the lyrics tailored to fit it, while he says the song was actually a pointed dig at his Maiden colleagues.

Bruce has mentioned several times that Tattooed Millionaire was a dig at the LA scene, exemplified by Mötley Crüe and bands of that ilk.

Nikki Sixx claimed it was about him after revealing that he had slept with Bruce's then partner back when they were on tour with Maiden in 1984, but I am not sure Bruce was even aware of this before the publication of The Dirt in 2001. Here is more information about this:

Many thanks for this information!

This one I'm not sure I understand. You don't mean a dig from Bruce at the other Maiden members?
That’s what Mick asserts in one of his podcasts. Specifically he points to Bruce not being tattooed while most of the rest of Maiden, and most specifically Steve and Nicko, are. He basically claims that that was where the idea for the song came from with a ‘I want artistic integrity rather than trotting out this thing for money like you’ angle, but that the broader theme of the final song and explanations given in interviews were that it was all about and had only ever been about LA rock bands.

As I say, I don’t put much stock in his claim as I think Mick can be a bit hit and miss, but just noting it given he was doing PR for Bruce in the 90s and obviously has links with the band up to him doing the official biography.

For what is worth, Mick Wall thinks Bruce is a pompous oaf.

Roy played a (longer) and cool solo on a song for one of his produced new albums/bands and praises the musicians, how awesome it was to guest play and to check it out and share it. I can't help but think he's praising everyone but Bruce since he's not part of the touring band. Rob too, although he doesn't work with him now. I remember him saying the fans would like TMP, but other than that (and in one long interview after the release of the 2nd single), I can't recall.

Check the solo: here. Slower, melodic and shredding. Reminds me of his TOS style, more effective than almost all of his solos in TMP, not that there are many.

Not giving Roy Z my time. I’m over him. He hasn’t done anything worthwhile in 20 years.
Fair enough. But has he been involved in any projects that time? Or you mean production too? He hasn't written a solo album (TOG stuff is the closest). Would he want to write just for himself? Last year, he mentioned the idea of doing some live solo shows with a new ''project''.

TMP has its moments in terms of his guitar playing though. Something different, age, they wanted a 2nd guitarist, idk but it's not his best for sure.

He was involved in the songwriting (and guitar playing) for Halford's Made of Metal and Winter Songs, the weakest Halford albums by far.

I read "The Dirt" and it says Bruce's wife climbed into Nikki Sixx's hotel room through a window in the morning. To me it sounded like a dream or a fantasy.
Very strange story.
