Bruce Dickinson

Would it be totally weird to wear some shirt with the picture of another Iron Maiden member when I go to Bruce's show?
Yes.

Or shall I take some Maiden-shirt
I’d say this is also poor form, though many other people will be doing it.

If you don’t have a Dickinson shirt, I’d suggest something related to William Blake, Aleister Crowley, Van Der Graaf Generator, Skunkworks (the military one), or the R-101. Or at least wear a Samson shirt instead of a Maiden one!

Maiden-branded beer shirts are acceptable, though, since Bruce profits from the product!

Not without Darkside Of Aquarius for me - one of the ultimate live songs. I would call the set my favorite/perfect if there are more TOS songs, Man Of Sorrows, Wounds, Omega, other song from Skunkworks, etc. Is there a clip of Book Of Thel from this show?

Btw, some daylight official footage:

If you don't have Bruce Dickinson shirt/trousers/underwear it's better to just go naked.

How about wearing this one?

I am sure that Beanie hat + Christmas jumper is a combination Bruce would approve in late Spring/early Summer.

Resurrection Men single is coming on 26th of July.

The two bonus tracks are Abduction (Live) and Afterglow Of Ragnarok (Live) both recorded in Sao Paulo earlier this year.

Now, the question is who mixed them and will they be any good...

*insert Tony Newton meme here*

I had some cool Mr. Bean shirt in the 90s, too bad it didn’t last this far. It came the few Bean-videocasettes and it was white, so the material unfornately last.

So the single will be sold elsewhere aswell?
But only limited number of preorders from the official store will receive double-sided Mandrake ‘Movie Posters’.

which may indicate that live album is on the way. Finger crossed for quality of mix.

But based on that video (I assume that this will be a part of release) - it may be nice:

Resurrection Men is still by far the weakest track on the album for me, but I'm excited to get some live B-Sides, especially Abduction.

It is available to pre-order at HMV in the UK, so I imagine it will be sold in as many places as possible.

On a related note, has anyone seen the Mandrake Project comic books on sale at any physical shop? Out of curiosity, I have checked at several places (specialist comic stores, bookshops with big sections for graphic novels, record stores also with big sections foe graphic novels…) and have not found it anywhere!

Bruce again is doing what Maiden stopped in 2006. So Resurrection Men is the 3rd single. One of his favorites. He could have made a different cover for it, not the same one. Hopefully the sound and mix is good (I don't think the video teaser above is live?). Maybe the upcoming live video/album won't be from Sao Paulo like the 2 songs and could be from multiple shows. Great to see live B-sides again, of two very good live songs.

Btw, the poster in it is said to be the art for Part 3 of the comic:

For me, it's the biggest grower. But it's such a shame that the song is unfinished.

It is not nearly as bad as the last song but pretty poor nonetheless. I will be getting the CD-single for those two live tracks though.
Sonata needed a ton of editing and revising, but the first third or so at least has a decent basis that could've become a really cool mid-tempo song. Resurrection Men's first verse with the chromatic riff is atrocious in my opinion and one of the worst things I've ever heard from Bruce (or anything Maiden-related for that matter). I dislike that part that much. The western melody is neat and the half time middle section kinda fun, but as it stands the songs is a disjointed mess with multiple sections I actively dislike. Maybe it's because of expectations; with Sonata we had heard so many PR statements that were major red flags for me so I went into it prepared to be disappointed. Resurrection Men on the other hand was praised and even seen as the title track by Bruce, so maybe I simply anticipated something that was better than what we got.

The same could be said for most of the album :P
I think the song the grew the most on me is Many Doors To Hell, where I was kinda disappointed at first listen, but now it's one of my favorite songs of the album.
