If anyone haven't heard Damnation by Opeth, they really should. Quite an easy listening album, too. It at least deserves to be here, if not getting past many rounds.

"Justice is lost, justice is raped, justice is gone." ?

Mob Rules
Holy Diver
Last in Line
Houses of the Holy
Secret Treaties
Cowboys from Hell
Dr. Feelgood
Pretty Hate Machine
Razor's Edge
Sonic Temple
Tales from the Twilight World
Tattooed Millionaire

+1 to Silicon Messiah.

Nominations list, or rather "Albums I like from 00-04", I cba deciding whether other people would vote for them or not :P

Tursias - Battle Metal
Velvet Revolver - Contraband
Motorhead - Inferno
Megadeth - System has Failed
Scorpions - Unbreakable
Judas Priest - Demolition (Ha, no one would ever vote for this)
Michael Schenker - Adventures of the Imagination (likewise :P)
Alice Cooper - Brutal Planet
Racer X - Technical Difficulties

Do I think they're the best albums ever? not even close. But same goes for most of the ones so far :P

+1 to Silicon Messiah

Even though I understand this move, it leaves me wondering about the special (lucky?) position Mob Rules has at the moment.

Mckindog, am I wrong with the following?
It has no concurrents for its era anymore. In theory, later on it could be promoted as the 3rd album from that 1981-1982 era, while only two albums from the best era (1983-1984) might go through because none of these would have 10 rounds with two votes. So, because other albums were so successful, the third can also have an advantage.

EDIT:
On the other hand, I don't know how many albums still can get through. Maybe there's more room and who knows 4 1983-1984 could get promoted.

Two from each era make the playoffs. But in addition to that, 15-20 others will also go through.
Mob might go through with all five from 83/84, or only two of them. Mob may not go through at all.
It still has to beat a lot of albums. This just takes care of the obvious.

Silicon Messiah was overlooked by your host and should have been here in the first place.

Only eight voters so far, and after lasting the entire game, could Mob Rules finally be headed to the showers?
And somebody please save Grace Under Pressure.

I wonder how far Long Live Rock'n'Roll will get. Thus far it does excellent. Way better than I thought. It has a couple of fantastic tracks but most people seem to ignore dreadful filler like LA Connection.

I actually really like LA Connection. There's only a few songs on that album that I don't care for, I love the rest. Glad to see it doing well.

Mob Rules has as many votes as Dr. Feelgood?
Now that, I would never have expected.
On the other hand, no5's vote might have saved Grace Under Pressure (5 out of at least 11 voters)?

I prefer Sin After Sin and Animals.

That is strange. Incidentally, I didn't vote against either. I like Dr. Feelgood a lot. But Mob Rules is clearly better. Oh well, at least it's made a strong showing for a wild card spot.
