I think you accidentally made a second Round 15. As in, this is actually the 16th round. Was momentarily confused by this.
Damn, that's the second time. Sorry people.
Too much cut and paste.

 I am surprised Nostradamus and Watershed outlasted Angel of Retribution and Ghost Reveries.

:S I am torn on how to vote for the new albums. My two favourites (Let There Be Rock and Spectres) will probably get chewed up and spit out. Do I vote to protect them, or do I look after my next tier in a tough group?

 And I will give cookies to anyone who helps promote Superunknown.

I am surprised about something else.

@Mckindog: would you please explain a bit more why you:
- eliminated Volume 4? It had 6 votes.
- promoted Balls to Picasso? It had 6 votes.
- did nothing with Nostradamus and Watershed? They had 6 votes.

Even if there are different situations in the different eras, this uneven treatment is still pretty new, because I always thought that albums got the same treatment if they had the same number of votes.

The treatment for Volume 4 feels as a harder than necessary one because it has only one more vote than one of its concurrents. Moreover, you eliminated only 4 other albums? Why per se this one as well?

A tiebreak solution or waiting another round just as with Nostradamus and Watershed was perhaps more fair? Thanks for your take on this, much appreciated.

Me too.

And I am glad the last Priest album outlasted Angel of Retribution. I thought Watershed was a bit worse than Ghost Reveries, though.

So, if people want some Dutch cookies (which are the best in the world; hell we even invented the word), vote for Watershed and save Nostradamus!

What's more important than 666?? :devil2:

Naah, I don't think it will, Mighty dog will notice thy post since you quothed him.

Wow, only one European band vs so many from the USA. This feels like:

Come on Helloween, make a last stand!

I will nominate some excellent non-American albums:
Candlemass (Nightfall, 1987), Black Sabbath (The Eternal Idol, 1987), Midnight Oil (Diesel and Dust, 1987) and Running Wild (Port Royal, 1988).
So many awesome albums eliminated, but IV stays
I feel it gets some extra luck because of what happened to Volume 4. Thankfully there's another Sabbath album which is harder to beat.

Alright then. Edited previous post. :)

In case people want to check out Running Wild - Port Royal:
Or if people have less time: just a few highlights:
Plus a live version of Conquistadores:

the best instrumental ever made in the history of metal:
