Nostradamus has 3 votes, but when you click on them, I see 4(!) names.
Coheed & Cambria has 6 votes, but when you click 7.
This happens with more albums.

I think all the votes by Flash are not counted. His name pops up every time when I notice this.

I am afraid you must count the names and not the amount of votes as long as this error continues.

EDIT: ignore the above: When I refreshed his votes were counted. I must have seen the situation in the middle of the voting process. First the name is added and then the count goes up.

KDH: Just start with these songs. Hint: For the Monster (Krupa & Rich), no matter what, do not press stop before the end of the song. I know it's lengthy (11 mins) but try to listen to it all. Believe me. And make sure that there's a chair /sofa somewhere :)

I didn't realised it no.

What I thought is:
1. When you were voting just by seeing Led Zeppelin you killed it, without paying much attention.
2. Later, you thought: Holy fuck where is IV??
3. Then you came back for a quick verification and you didn't see the IV.
4. Then, very excited, you posted the smiley.
5. Then I, answered by QUOTING just in case you'd like to modify your post :devil2::devil2::devil2:

Random thought: This is the Zep album with the most Tolkien references. :innocent:

@1: no way, I am planning to check every new Zep album coming in the game.
@2: :) Yes!! That's the reaction I was hoping for. I hope some more people had / will have that. ;)

Yes, but the audio is overruling that for me. See topic 11, 12 or 13 (not sure where I complained about it).
Or better: perhaps don't see it, or else we'll have another medal on our asses. ;)

You speak about Misty Mountain Hope?? But man, this is a metaphor to today's world!! Thus the audio fits perfectly like it is.

By the way, I am not the only one who voted. As we speak it has the most votes from all 1970s and 1980s albums, sharing this "achievement" only with Kill 'Em All and The Warning.

Night Prowler is a very prominent, yet young man. Crimson Idol & Vap, surely are young, too. You are in my age, plus a musician, plus a beloved fella in jazz, prog rock, Maiden's blue period & in general and so my expectations from you are a bit higher.

I am younger than the album.. but the vast majority of my music collection also fits that description so age has nothing to do with it :P Although I do not see age or "Pioneering" as any token of an album being GOOD or not. Most of all I just don't enjoy it, and that's all there is to it.

What are your guys' favorite albums of all-time anyway? Two of my top choices were eliminated right away.

I don't believe I have any rankings for anything past #1 at this stage (can't even go on ratings as I've barely scratched my collection in that regard), but my #1 was eliminated in it's first round (at least it got included!) and the answer to which should be fairly obvious :P

Lol CI, lots of people here are younger than the album.
Don't worry I was only teasing Foro, I just can't stand that he dislikes Zeppelin, it's stronger than me. :devil2:

I don't really care much for Zeppelin's albums, but I like a few songs. Achilles Last Stand is my favorite.

A few of my favourite non-Maiden albums include Painkiller (1990) by Judas Priest and Headless Cross (1989) by Black Sabbath. I expect the first one will come very far in this game, so right now I'll give you a shot on the latter:

Keeps you at the edge of your seat, from the first moments, when you can hear the sissing pits of hell till the dying seconds of Nightwing, an excellent atmospherical track featuring several guitar solos (including an acoustic one) and a really nice vocal melody. Tony Iommi does his best solos here. I remember, when I bought this album in Paris, that I played it non-stop on repeat in the train on the way back to Holland. From then on I knew that I had to get all Black Sabbath albums.
This one remains a favourite and not in the least because of its grabbing melodies and excellent singing. It's not that long (40 minutes) and IMO very easy to take from the first listening. A note of interest: On drums the legendary Cozy Powell (R.I.P.), doing his first collaboration with Sabbath.

If you (and others!) don't know this album (that well), please check it out (in HD!) before it comes in the game. Here I've put all the tracks in order. Don't forget the last two which just have links to YouTube:
I am convinced Devil & Daughter track features a Brian May solo (who was thanked in the booklet "thanks for the solo". Others say he did his solo in the next track but that sounds less like him, I think.

"Collection of songs" wise, Painkiller is one of my favorites. "Album" wise, it's only my 4th favorite Priest album (after Sad Wings, Stained, Sin).
