Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

The sonic blue ESP strathead was also used in the ensuing No Prayer on the Road tour.
That was the 1986 electric blue one, which was used on Iron Maiden to throw around and usually the neighbouring song, which was HCW at the time, but not during every show (ESP headstock).

Also, what is interesting about that tour guitar-wise is that Steve used the 70's precision and the 59 precision (checkerboard) for half of the show each during every show.

The right guitar is Janick's. It's the cream Strat he still uses as his wireless guitar.
Dave used such cream Strat in 1995/1996.

The left guitar was used in the studio for the DOD album recordings, if I'm not mistaken from the documentary, so it could have been a backup in the early 2000's.
So, are there others ?
All used live in the 80's without the red one, right? 82-88.

No, he used the sonic blue ESP strathead. I was there for several shows on the tour, and it was not his old electric blue 22 fret lawsuit headstock ESP artist series (sold as the SE-190DM by ESP).

What did he play it on? HCW and IM?

Because on the 1990 shows it was the electric blue one for sure:

Those early shows are interesting, as Dave uses the Jackson for everything minus IM and HCW. Those 2 are the electric blue ESP.

It's possible that the sonic blue strathead was the backup for the CAR Jackson before the white Jackson arrived.

I saw them on the US leg of the tour which was several months after the video in Stockholm was recorded. I can't recall which songs he used it on.

Then it was some kind of 2nd backup. White Jackson was there at that point for sure.

Could be one of those shows when the bridge pickup on the white Jackson was being changed (it started out with a white one and finished the tour with a black one).

Because Adrian Smith once played on Gibson... It seems that Gibson guitars are easily fakeable.

They are not if you know where to look.

First alarming thing is no "made in Canada" case and no warranty card with matching serial number. Another one is a serial number that makes no sense. Etc, etc.

If you go further, there is always writing under the neck pickup.

Luckily, I have all the things for both of my cherry sunburst 2011 LP Traditionals (which were made a day apart, but sound completely different, so there is your Gibson quality control).
