Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I'm not sure if those have been mentioned before as I can't find them in the opening post, but its worth to mention the acoustic guitars Dave, Adrian and Janick used to play The Journeyman in the Death on the Road tour, I think they were a Gibson Hummingbird, Gibson Chet Atkins and I think Adrian used a Taylor, not sure which model through.

Janick used the Chet Atkins for Dance of Death, on Journeyman he used another acoustic guitar which I think he kept in his rig as a backup, I remember a 2012 live version of Dance of Death with him using that guitar.

Why Janick never used the blue Charvel guitar that he had in the studio during NPFTD's recordings?

Dave alway played a Cherry Sunburst Hummingbird on stage in recent time (since 1999)

For Journeyman, H used a Taylor 414 CE and Janick used a Taylor 814 CE. Both apparently purchased during DOD sessions and used ever since.

Adrian played the 414 for years, but has now switched to a PRS acoustic for some reason.

Floyd Rose bridge is also a pain in the ass when tuning and changing strings, plus Floyd D. Rose originally designed the bridge to contrast the loss of tuning when using heavy dive bombs and bar work.
Janick is not a proponent of dive bombs and stuff like that, so a Floyd would be pointless on his guitars. The Fender floating bridge (or any Fender locking bridge, which by the way are licensed Floyd Rose derivates) is more than enough.

Janick's bridges are dive-only, as are Dave's. But yeah, he doesn't use tremolo much.

As for the Gibson Melody Maker Adrian played in the Piece of Mind album, can anybody tell me if he used stock pickups or DiMarzio ST?

Just curious, because I always loved the sound on that record, especially the drums, and the Gibson Melody Maker doesn't look like a heavy metal guitar. I always thought It was a Les Paul Junior with double cutaway.

Found this picture of Dave Murray on my 1998 A Real Live/Dead One CD booklet, is that white Stratocaster a Fender, or the same Jackson that he used as a backup for the CAR Jackson in the Fear of the Dark Tour, but with a white humbucker in the neck? (the Jackson I’m mentioning has/had a black pickup in the neck) and btw, do you guys know if this guitar got trashed or something or if Dave still owns it? Thanks

It's the backup Jackson with changed pickups. It's still probably somewhere in the Maiden warehouse.

By the way you can tell it's a Jackson by looking at the logo on the head (unless he mounted the Jackson neck on a Fender body, but we would have had Theseus's Paradox at that point).

Nah. Dave had 2 custom Jacksons made before NPFTD, after he retired the Kossoff Strat.
Well he also has/had guitars he doesn't (or rarely) use with Iron Maiden. The one he used in the Hear 'n Aid video for example, or the Fernandes (was it a Fernandes?) he used in 2003.

He also was coming back to Fender in 1999, after all.
