2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia (Maidenfans WC Pool inside)

England are looking comfortable and likely to score a second. I can't see Sweden getting back into it but then Colombia never looked like scoring until late on. If England go 2-0 up then it will be game over. :(
 
England's dominance on set pieces continues, and Sterling is looking his most dangerous yet. I think it's likely England will score as Sweden gets desperate towards the end of the second half.

I am surrounded by Swedes and they are a little salty right now.

Are we watching the same game? I thought the first half was slow and dull until the 40 minutes mark when England actually started attempting to hurt Sweden on the counter-attack.

I am surprised that Sweden have been pressing high with little intensity, that's a risky approach. England waited a long time before they started exploiting it.

But 2nd half starts with a good chance for the World Cup's least efficient striker!

There have definitely been some heroic goalkeeping performances in this tournament. Akinfeev vs. Spain, Schmeichel vs. Croatia (although for nothing in the end), Pickford vs. Colombia, Courtois vs. Brazil and now Pickford vs Sweden.
