2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia (Maidenfans WC Pool inside)

I'll be honest. First I thought: fuck, Belgium is lucky again. And they were with that 1-0 ahead. But the 2-0 was brilliant, not just the shot, I love Lukaku, so awesome. Then the Brazilians got less and less. I wonder if they can do anything in the 2nd half. There is time, but they need some luck as well. Or some moments of brilliance.
 
In this first half, Lukaku, De Bruyne and Hazard have all shown glimpses of what they do at their best in the EPL. Having those three, on form, up front, must be a dream for any national team coach.

@matic22 - good point about Casemiro. He's important for their coverage against counter attacks and that's where Belgium have been most threatening.
 
Brazil will have to push forward more to get back into this. Fingers crossed for a repeat of Belo Horizonte, even though I have Brazil all the way in the Maidenfans pool.

The one time I traveled to Brazil, we visited Belo Horizonte. While there, I fell ill and had to stay in bed for two days.
 
I picked Brazil in the Maidenfans pool but Belgium in the pool I did with family and friends. I'm cheering for Belgium though.
 
The referee should have added on more time for the Belgian time wasting! Farce!

That match did not disappoint though. Looking forward to the tournament-deciding semi-final.
 
I would've given the penalty for that last push on Neymar mid air. He clearly pushed him enough so he doesn't intercept the ball. You can't punish whole teams because of one man's reputation.
