2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia (Maidenfans WC Pool inside)

Hope they keep it up in 2nd half too. If Albania or Kosovo want their flags on display when one of the trophies gets lifted, invest in football, qualify and play World Cup.
 
Half time and the Swiss really have issues to sort out. They've been static in attack and sloppy in defense. Sweden were clearly better in the 1st half and should've scored at least one. Had the Swedes been clinical it would've been 3-0.

Even worse because they do have a team of some potential, its not like they're Faroe Islands. Albania would be strong with these players that play for Switzerland. They could've brought up their fatherland's national team to the next level.

Those guys are definitely eligible for Kosovo, but maybe they have Albanian citizenship too. The thing with Kosovo is that they are not a member nation of FIFA, presumably to their controversial status as an independent state, so they can't compete in the World Cup. I guess that's a big part of why Shaqiri et al. chose to stay with Switzerland after Kosovo got a national team.

Now they are, they took part in the qualification for this World Cup. But of course Shaqiri et.al. had made their senior debut for Switzerland before that happened.

If they don't I guess it wouldn't be a problem for Albania to grant it to them. But enough about them, they're out.
 
That was a poor performance by Switzerland. Sweden were the better team in the 1st half, the 2nd was even, but all in all Sweden deserved to win this.

Let's see who they will face. I feel both England and Colombia are better than these two, but not so much better that they should expect an easy match.
