If I remember correctly, that version of Tears of the Dragon was tuned down, but Bruce cockily proclaimed in the Chris Jericho podcast that he could sing the Maiden songs in the original key.

Bollocks, they certainly didn't tune down because TOTD was too high.

If they didn't do it, you would call them lazy (which you do anyway, I guess).

The original is in A minor, this is in G# minor, so a half step lower. I think what jazz from hell was saying though was that they didn't downtune to suit Bruce' voice. I don't think jazz disputes that it's transposed.

Actually 1.72m is 5'8", but yes, I'm pretty sure that's his height.
