Anybody an idea if Iron Maiden themselves check forums like these from time to time? If so, there might be a chance they really change the one or other thing.

Where actually does our forum range compared to other Maiden forums - are we the biggest/most active/most important one?
 
I'm not sure if we'll get a video release from LOTB - I mean all legs of the tour were live streamed. It will be odd to have ONLY a live album from this tour, but Nights Of The Dead was more or less a bonus anyway.

It would be great to have a proper Rock In Rio video release on YouTube from the band or from someone who managed to capture the show. I didn't watch the show last night, it was too late for me and friday I had a very busy and exhausting day.

Surely someone from Iron Maiden camp checks in here, there are even some ideas who they might be.
As for the other thing, suggesting that they could change in this life or the next, it’s light years ahead next level of optimism!

I'm going to paraphrase myself from earlier this year here: the new songs being the encore would ensure half the audience is just gone after Iron Maiden ends, would be a total letdown since they're not at all high energy and wouldn't work anyway because Stratego is nearly too much for Nicko as the second song, let alone as the second-to-last tune they play. No, they should've just not fucking done the Senjutsu realm at all.

Play TWOTW, maybe Stratego if they can fit it somewhere in the set, otherwise keep the basic structure and the "realms" from the original LOTB set intact. Aces High as the opener, etc.

^ Maybe that was the best decision. With a few changes to the old classics too. I agree about the encores, but if Nicko can play Aces High there, he could pull off Stratego there too?

This leg of the tour shouldn't have been with so many dates (especially when they're playing places they've already visited with this tour), but we know the reason for that. I expect the tour next year to be 5 months at most.

I watched the livestream last night, and honestly it wasn't as terrible as some are making it out to be in my opinion. In fact, I'd say it was really good for the most part.

Bruce struggled at times because he's clearly sick, and he definitely struggled in the encores because of that.

I wasn't able to listen to Aces High last night because the broadcast I was watching didn't show it, but based on the previously posted video it could've been better.

All that to say, I still think the band sounded fantastic as a whole through most of the night.

^ This. Nicko in particular was very good. Too bad Bruce had problems for all live streamed shows since 2013.

Really? (Not an attack, just genuine interest!) I vastly prefer him going for harmonies, instead of failing to reach the high notes. And there's only so many lines per song that you can let the audience sing, before it gets too obvious. :D
 
Maybe it has something to do with this and Bruce being the most sensitive of them these days?

Could someone who can reach Mr. Juras via Facebook ask him if the US dates are going to be canceled?
Or are we to think that Steve will somehow sneak into the US unvaccinated as well?

I don’t know what happens with the wings always in Rock in Rio. Icarus can’t fly here and Bruce didn’t show the cross with angel wings in Rock in Rio 2001.
