Was at Slayer last night. Great show, best I've ever seen from them. They played something off every album, although I think maybe the Seasons in the Abyss album was over represented at the expense of Show no Mercy and Hell Awaits. They're such a well oiled machine, tight as fuck, and little messing around.
You're never shouting "get to the working overtime part" at a Slayer gig.

Anthrax were ok but a very short set was let down by playing weak tracks like Be All, End All and something from a recent album, basically if you're only getting 7 songs, play your 7 biggest hits.
Lamb of God not my thing but they definitely had a better reaction and more people watching them than Anthrax so were justifiably 2nd on the bill. Missed a lot of Obituary, they aren't my thing either way, and the only track I like Slowly We Rot seemed a bit sloppy.
First headliner to be announced on November 7th.
