Excellent. More watermelon and strawberries for the rest of us. Last time I visited Rome there was a street vendor near the hotel selling huge slices of all kinds of melon, he was there from early morning until about midnight. I must have mostly existed on slices of melon during that trip, it was so nice.

I'm so bummed! I just found out Hastings is closing all of their stores. I bought all my CD's and vinyls there! I probably went in there twice a week!

A small positive is the closing out sale, everything will be marked down.

In the summer of 1998, Canadian Deirdre LaCarte built a website in a competition with her sister and her best friend to see who could get the most traffic. She won. Named after LaCarte's own pet Hamster (Hampton), her site featured animated hamsters dancing to a accelerated sample of Roger Miller's "Whistle Stop", from the 1973 soundtrack of the animated Disney version of "Robin Hood".After being a popular hit on the internet, it was finally remixed for an official release in 2000, and re-remixed in 2005.

I think that's enough internet for today...
