It is a bit of a mystery why:
A: the plane descended into the direction of the Alpes instead of going more to the (north)west (less difficult terrain for emergency landing)
B: there was no contact made, during the 8 minute descend

Yeah, all of the news subreddits are pretty terrible.

I subscribe to r/politics for the links, but the comments are usually cancer. It's always one side calling the other side names.

Reddit's real problem is just demographics. It's full of college-age idiots who mostly still haven't lived on their own in the real world. 98% of the BS in the comments comes from ignorance about reality.

Reports say they've recovered a black box, so hopefully there will be some more answers soon. One report I read said there had been a distress signal, but the details released don't really shed much light. They're probably trying to avoid prejudicing the investigation.

You should've been there in 1965, when The Beatles played to 55000 with a PA suitable for a small club. :D

And thus, the market for proper PA was born.

I officially bought my first vinyl today. It's a Stranger in a Strange Land 7'' rerelease. It was 5$. Just curious, has anyone collected all of the rereleased vinyls?

In the meantime I just need to get a record player. <_<

On the other hand, Reddit occasionally produces useful information. Someone in r/powermetal searched metal-archives to find:

The Most Common Words in Power Metal Song Titles
Fire: 755 songs
Metal: 557
Heart: 471
Dream: 436
New: 426
Power: 300
Wings: 282
Steel: 270

Strangely enough, all of the serious discussion tends to happen in the very silly subreddits.
