It was definitely not bad and I’d watch it again but I was expecting an even more deeper interpretation from Nolan, something in the likes how he interpreted the Sirens myth (awesome interpretation) but for the whole movie.

Also I would expect instead trying to show us everything that Homer said to just focus to one part of the book and give us a solid story about that that everyone relate could follow.

The book has very deep images, him returning in his own home as a beggar, him finding his father in the last rhapsody (parallel with Iliad that in the last rhapsody Achilles meet the father of the person he had killed, Hector), what was the leaning of him not returning home for so long, of returning alone stripped of his men and more

I loved how he presented Odysseus going to underworld, but man, it was a huge missed opportunity to not show us the meeting with Achilles or his mother (whom he didn’t know she was dead in the poem until he sees her in the underworld)
 
I was checking the Blabbermouth page and scrolling down through the news. Then I saw this headline: “DANGEROUS TOYS: Definitive Deluxe Reissue Of 1989 Classic Debut Album Due In November.”

I have no clue about this band and probably never will. I just wanted to say that, after reading the headline, there was some Thunderstruck going on in my head.

I thought the album title Dangerous Toys, coming from a big first-league band, would be a great title for a classic album. Like a Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, King Diamond, Scorpions, or some other band's album called Dangerous Toys - something along those lines.

I almost felt déjà vu, like we already had an album with such a name in our canon, released sometime in the '80s. (Obviously, apart from the band of the same name.)

Hmm... I think that in a parallel universe, there really is such an album, and it's a fucking masterpiece.

Just a thought. Just a glimmering premonition.

Edit: Or maybe an album with such a title was released in the '90s by none other than Bruce Dickinson himself. And it was a banger.
