Anyone thirsty for some Trooper?

I kind of though that was what this thread was for. I'm off now to look for the lamppost thread you mentioned earlier ...

Any name for a beer really would have to be 1 word. I have wrecked my brain and none would be better than Trooper. Maybe Maiden. Like where you lot are going with the puns btw.

I think it was a great choice and in line with many current Real Ale brand names, like Bombardier, Spitfire, Nelson's Blood etc....

Real Ale is a traditional English drink and the names chosen by the brewers for their Ales often reflect this. So in fact the choice of 'Trooper' is ideal really - and easy to remember when you've had a few!

... as we reach towards the toilet wall!

Brilliant!

I demand that these guys get a share of the beer's success!

Thanks Forostar, I wasn't sure whether the general response would be "that's very funny" or "that's sacrilege" so I'm glad you approve!

^Accent, at a guess. West Country is a weird accent if you're not used to hearing it.;)

I wanted to know if I recognized it. And I failed. ;)

ow pronounced as oi hinted me in that direction. I know someone from Ireland who does that.
