The Future Past Tour 2024

'sup, yall?

I posted this as it's own thread, but I might as well ask this here: my question is for anyone that has purchased a shirt during this North American tour is cash being accepted or is it or payment via card only? Let me know whenever by later tonight so I can plan out some financial logistics for tomorrow night. I'm planning on buying a tour shirt and - maybe- the New York event shirt if it's worth dropping another $50.
 
What an absolute banger that was last night. Bruce is still running around like he's in his twenties toying with the microphone stand and has not lost a single step in his delivery and how he energizes the crowd. The band plowed through with precision and finesse. Even Death of the Celts which I was never a fan of turned me into one with that performance. It's just different live. Just the whole experience was on another level. I love this fucking band.
 
They released a few tix for Charlotte for standard admission price and I snagged a great pair on the mid lower level, 10 rows up on Davey's side. I am so stoked to see this tour, cannot wait until the 13th! FYI, they have floor tix at standard price as of this post if anyone is interested.

Just checked and the guy who recorded is from brazil. I'm not saying that the audience at the show wasn't excited.

Is this video slowed down? I mean, Nicko has shown that he can play fast this leg of the tour and they play Hell On Earth a little faster live, even though that part is played slower than in the studio version. I guess the tempo might vary for the encores.

Overall he has been playing faster indeed, but the speed can vary in some gigs.
 

I don´t know if this has been discussed before, but the tempo here is absolutely brutal and Nicko is speeding up the whole song.
In the solo section, you can see Dave making a moderate mistake, but Adrian absolutely butchers the solo and cannot phrase the notes because of the ferocious tempo. In the last verse, Bruce can barely keep up, cos Nicko is too damn fast and at around 7:53 Adrian stops playing and gets very upset and gestures at Nicko very angrily. I love Nicko so damn much, but he is really just degrading the performances now. :(:(:(

Don’t blame Nicko just because Adrian can’t play his guitar ;)

In all seriousness though I really dig the fast tempos, Maiden really needs more of that imo. Perhaps these are the first signs of the guitarists’ ages showing though. Maybe the finger dexterity is degrading ever so slightly.
