To be frank: I wouldn't have touched it if Night Prowler didn't vote the way he did (and that soon). :)
In fact, for this round I wanted to propose him a deal, which looked like this:
1. We both vote for Power and the Glory
2. I leave 747 alone
3. He leaves Thin Line & Circle of Light alone

But just when I wanted to propose this, I noticed he voted already. :/
Can't say I am displeased with the result. Actually I am relieved. A few rounds ago, I thought Unleash the Beast would be slaughtered. Now this best album Saxon has ever done, is represented by 3 songs in the top 10.

I did a huge Saxon poll of 67 songs with a friend of mine. I played him this list, over the course of 8 different evenings. Soon he will come up with his favourite 10 and eventually his alltime favourite Saxon song.

His alltime favorite Saxon song will be Circle Of Light, because it's clearly Saxon's best.

Because if I Just Can't Get Enough wasn't there, that's exactly what it looks like.

Not at all, just a little surprised you hadn't mentioned it before with all the talk about that album.

This is my Saxon top 67 in chronological order, though I did include one song I did not like that much (Witchfinder General), but I know you guys liked it. For the rest these are all the songs I really enjoyed. It was a long and fine ride! A most memorable survivor already. He enjoyed most of it, and this was done over the course of roughly two months, so no overkill.

I would have had no problem with 747 in the top 10, but The Thin Red Line has been in my top 10 since we started this game.
The band has a handful of these type of songs (Broken Heroes, Red Star, etc.), all of them very good. This is the best of them. Such great melodies.

And with my own top 10 now finalized, I have discovered eight of them will make it. Pretty damn good. :)

I thought we would go from scratch with the 10 best songs and decide the order from now on, not in the previous round.

The previous round was only meant for deciding which song would not make the top 10.
 
No, spelled it out pretty specifically in the last thread:
"If your vote sends us into a two-way tie, one will somehow end up 11 and the other at ten."
