My eleven favourites in no order:

17 studio albums, 10 songs, ok there will be a lot that will be left out but here it is.

I ended up writing down 15 tracks and did away with five of them. I'll put down the track and explain why I wrote (kept?) them.

Stranger in a Strange Land
Probably the track of theirs with a greatest vibe throughout the whole thing.

The Evil That Men Do
They managed to not only have a 10/10 intro/verse melody, but also a 10/10 chorus melody.

No Prayer for the Dying
Because I am a sentimental sack of shit contemplator.

Afraid to Shoot Strangers
The instrumental section!

Fortunes of War
I love the theme and lyrics and the melody lines in this song. Not to mention me being an absolute sucker for the E-G-C-D-A-C-D chord progression during the solos.

Dream of Mirrors
The abstractness of it all.

Dance of Death
The track that made me fall in love with them.

When the Wild Wind Blows
Some people think that a grown-ass hairy man like me should be ashamed to have been moved to tears the way I was the first time I heard that intro melody line the first time. But I think that I shouldn't be ashamed to say that because of the fact that I am a grown-ass hairy man.

The Red and the Black
That instrumental section in the latter half of that song is one of the most eargasmic things I've ever heard.

The Parchment
This manages to be both extremely tight and incredibly adventurous. There are many stuff from Iron Maiden that are labeled and considered as epics - but this one is the one epic to rule them all.

I took every album and picked my favorite songs, I think I had like 30 in total. Then started to weed out the weak (read: delete the lesser songs than the rest) and had 13 left. It was hard to leave out those 3 but you should try to do it.

Man, I'm listening to Maiden, nonstop, random mode, since last night and The Evil That Men Do just finished (and tears ran down my face); now, If Eternity Should Fail is playing and both, also, could easily be on this list. It's the greatest band of all times. UP THE IRONS!!! \m/

Yea If Eternity Should Fail is great! Icarus is another favorite. Flash Of The Blade too. So many great songs.
