I suppose it depends on what you mean by "weak.' Weak as in his lack of experience/qualifications to hold office? Obviously, but this was already known to the American public and deemed acceptable on Election night. Weak as in his inability to avoid scandals and administration drama that stand in the way of his agenda? Possibly, but then there's Ulysses Grant. Weak as in the relative lack of support from his own party? I would actually say that it's impressive (or sad, depending on how you look at) how he has been able to get most of the party to come around on him.
