The concept of infotainment (not the electronic appliances but the media category) shouldn't exist because entertainment includes imagination, sarcasm, hyperbole, offset from reality, etc. While informing should have dry facts and nothing of that sort. With InfoWars Jones argued that he's an entertainer and in his role when shooting the show. If this was old school classic TV his show could exist during the "entertainment" programming but wouldn't be aired in information blocks.
I don't think regulation is even doable without grave overall negative consequences. But the problem isn't in Jones it is in his viewers. Anyone who wishes to be entertained while being presented with the world news or political discourse is, in essence, an idiot.
