We haven't got super crack players. The strenght is in the unit, in the "we". But a team that concedes goals very very rarely is a team very difficoult to face. It's a group in which the first eleven and the bench are considered and worth exactly the same. A group that can do something special, and make people proud. Anyway, I've been foreseeing a defeat against Belgium for 20 days, now, and unfortunately it's likely to happen, on Friday... Going out with them is understandable. At this point, France and Belgium are the 2 strongest teams remained, I guess. It's been a nice ride, anyway. After Ventura's disgraceful era ended in 2017, everything is gained.

We had a whole lot of luck and Courtois.
Hopefully De Bruyne can play.
 
De Boer won the title with Ajax four seasons in a row (a club record for one coach) but yes, he's come under fire now. But I really think most players sucked so much compared to the group phase. It's sad and strange.

Sometimes things just don't go the right way. A bad day or whatever. It sucks when this happens at the stage when you can't afford mistakes. I personally am sad to see the Dutch go, they are a fun team to watch.

Switzerland plays with lots of calmth, very nice to watch. Some awesome long crosspasses. Let's hope they can keep this going.
