On one hand I root for Ukraine, but on the other hand if Germany loses, they will be 200% determined to destroy us. :P But then it could be good for our team to see they're beatable... ;)

You're better off with Germany winning. Poland-Ukraine will be anyone's game, pretty close teams in terms of strength. Poland has the better players on paper but Ukraine played really well tonight.

Spain vs Czechia is today's first match. Should be a good one.

I'll be paying extra attention to the Czechs since they are in Norway's World Cup 2018 qualification group.

I only just realised that the draws had already been done.

Absolutely thrilled with Wales's group. Only Austria will really be problematic for us.

Well deserved win for Spain, they dominated that game throughout. The Czechs were hardly out of their own half the last 30 minutes of the game.

Now Sweden vs Ireland. I don't expect that to be a display of fireworks, perhaps we'll get a Zlatan moment or two though.

Well, I've guessed the winners but didn't guess the scores. Croatia could've win with more goals, if they continue like this (and with a bit of luck) they could easily go to semi-finals. Althought ugly to see, Ćorluka bleeding on the field was pure heavy metal. Didn't watch POL-N.IRE but I didn't expect Poland is going to strugle for a win. GER-UKR was a mystery. Althought they are the only team who have won so far with 2 goal difference, they didn't play anything like they played 2 years ago. I know they've had problems in qualifications but this seams a complete different play by Lew.

On the "supporters" thing: what the fuck are French police/security forces and UEFA doing?! What the hell?! These events are usually classified as high risk events which demend tremendeous organization and huge support. After the unfortunate terrorist attack in France and Belgium you've thought that they would triple their forces and security measures. Instead - France cities look like battlefield by several country's hooligans. Stadium security is atroucious - flares, smoke bombs and people running into the field. And what UEFA decides - punish the football organizations from which the "supporters" come. Rest of the things aren't peachy either - I believe railway/airport/gas stations/garbage disposal strike aren't making things pleasent for sure.

Considering today:
I've expected Spain to win higher. Despite their pressure this could've easily ended as draw.
I predict Sweden win by 1-0, Zlatan will probably have his golden minute that's going to decide the match.
Belgium-Italy is going to be a snooze-fest, I predict 0-0.

I think Zlatan actually manages to be arrogant and humble at the same time. In a cool way. I mean, the way he talks about his own ability is beyond cocky (although he often backs it up with his performances). At the same time, I don't have the impression that he whines and claims unfair treatment when things don't go his way, like an archetypal arrogant person would do.

Ireland vs Sweden turned out to be an open and entertaining match. Both teams went for it and a draw was probably a fair result (although Ireland had a few more chances than Sweden). But neither team can be happy with the result as both will consider Belgium and Italy tougher opponents.

Rooting for Belgium tonight, because Conte is a clueless cunt.

- Parolo - 9 goals+assists this season
- Giaccherini - 8 goals+assists this season
Both starting.

- Bonaventura - 17 goals+assists this season.
Not called up.

Eder starting, El Shaarawy and Insigne benched lel
