More tough choices. 68 and 30 are both excellent, but I get the feels from the other two. Dave's guitar absolutely sings in Judas. DoD comes across as carefree without being chaotic, and has a dancey feel that suits the song down to the ground, but also stands alone quite well. I hadn't really noticed until now, but I actually prefer it to the other DoD solos.

Hmmm. This a hard choice between four leads that are not really up there with the best this game is likely to throw up. For me personally, some of these are severely over-shadowed by what came before or what's to follow --some of which I hope make an appearance later...

Dave's Sign of the Cross lead, that preceded Janick's, is exhilarating & probably better. But this one's not too shabby either.
Dave's actual lead for Judas is spectacular (I sincerely hope it's in the game too @Forostar?!); this is just the warm-up.
Adrian's DoD lead I like a lot; Dave & Janick's, which follow, are both pretty more memorable too; hope they make an appearance.
And H's 2 Minutes lead is, again, pretty smart; but probably not as well crafted as his more polished, later, DoD one above.

Hard to choose. I've voted for two in all of the previous rounds, so I think I'll go with: H's DoD lead (095) for sure & Dave's Judas Be My Guide intro lead (061) just in case Foro hasn't included the main solo in a later round.

2M2M stands above the others. It is bluesy and mid-tempo, needing no fast runs up the fretboard to leave its mark. Adrian's DOD is another personal favourite, so melodic.

Cried, you're making it difficult with all that context. Yes, it is in the game, no worries.

I think it's unfair to downplay this Dave solo, only because one other follows it in that song. I hope you did that because you worried about the other solo, but I'd appreciate it if we'd not discuss this further please. It distracts and might influence people in the manner. Because this is what this game about:

In this group it stands on its own (like every other solo) and it does a great job imo.

So keep your powder dry, for when these solos appear! :-)

First one is nice, but ultimately just nothing too special.
Second sounds beautiful but is a little simple.
95 and 30 are the winners, clearly.

Okay, I'll zip it chief! :innocent:

It's getting too hard to play this game! But it's also a much-needed distraction from the TBOS pre-release forum:nuts: 095/DOD for me, because it makes me smile the widest.

Two Minutes is one of my all time favorite solos. Dave's is great too. One of my favorite trade offs.

This is definitely the hardest this far. I actually like all the solos in this group... Janick's "Sign of the Cross"-solo is well played, and with perhaps my favourite lead tone on any of their albums, Dave's "Judas Be My Guide" intro solo is the perfect opening to the song, for the first time displaying his more modernized high gain tone with lots of sustain that's been his trademark up til at least TFF. The last two by Adrian sits so well in the songs, not just being solos, but vital parts of the composition. That said, I think his solo tone on Powerslave is awful, so for that reason that one is out. One left to rule out then... Sorry, Janick, that one is just not that memorable.

061 and 095 it is.
