Oh yeah, I agree. The last four concerts I've gone to (all Maiden England 2012/13), the crowds were absolutely energetic and completely into it. Then again, I was always pretty close to the stage too, and couldn't tell you what was going on hundreds of feet back in the "lawn" sections or nosebleed seats. Didn't really care as Iron Maiden were playing twenty feet in front of me in St. Louis, MO.
I don't understand it either. I mean, that older lady was there *knowing* it was a Megadeth/Maiden show. Did she really expect everyone to remain seated the ENTIRE concert? And I mean, if this is a matter of her being old and so not being able to stand, why didn't she get handicap seats? They exist in most amphitheaters/venues? To expect everyone in front of you to remain seated because you don't want to stand (at a rock concert) makes you look stupid.
But I digress, fanatical Eastern Europeans and South Americans will hate the US concerts, and comment their hatred during tour times (both here and on youtube). Hence my initial comment.
