Lucky mainland Europeans getting shows getting shows in spectacular locations...

I guess I should be grateful for the show in a muddy field that Maiden have planned for the UK next year.
 
I'm actually considering avoiding all spoilers with the chance that there will be a live stream. However, that might be easier said than done once the tour starts.
 
I'll definitely target Trieste for this one. It's motorway all the way, but still an 8 hour trip in single direction, considering it will be inside the tourist season (lots of traffic).
Rome is also an option. I prefer the venue in Trieste but this would be a direct flight. Unfortunately no direct flight to Trieste, only Venice and then I presume some train...

@Ranko , do you plan to organize / be a part of a road trip? I wouldn't mind participating. I want to avoid riding the A1 in July at all costs, and take an ECA flight to Rijeka.

Rumours say Maiden is about to play three shows in Spain: Resurrection Fest, Barclaycard Center in Madrit (13 VII) and Rock Fest Bcn (15 VII). Annoucement - next week :)

Zare, I'll almost certainly go, but I don't know yet who'll go with me. I don't know if my girlfriend will be going or not, but my friend and his girlfriend will almost definitely go so there's room only for one more in the car... But it's way too early to tell, I'll have a definite plan maybe a month in advance. I'll let you know.

Btw, it's a Tuesday, the traffic on the A1 shouldn't be that bad...
 
Ok, thanks. I was planning to book any airline tickets in next month or so, they'll be a lot cheaper.
Maybe we'll get some Croatian dates, too :)
 
Okay, cool. Btw, for anyone who might want to know, you've got a direct bus line from the Ronchi airport to the Central station in Trieste, and then you can either use any southbound bus to get to Piazza Unità or even walk there, it's a less than 15 minutes walk.
 
Three dates in Spain:
July 9 - Viveiro, Resurrection Festival
July 13 - Madrid, Barclay Card Center
July 16 - Barcelona, Rock Fest

This really doesn't leave much space in the schedule now. It's possible they could still make it to Exit Festival in Serbia on July 7, as rumoured, and there are a few days free July 16-22.

All confirmed tour dates updated on P1 of this thread.
