Played there 5 times now, so this would be the 6th. Wouldn't surprise me if they do it again. I would rather see them play somewhere else, but Maiden at Donington is always special.
 
Nevertheless, I would be surprised if Download was their only UK show this year. They were able to play there in 2013 and still follow it up with 2 dates at the O2 a couple of months later, we might get the same deal again.

As someone who lives near London this doesn't bother me but it feels unfair on the thousands of fans in other parts of the country who will have to go through great expense to get to any of the concerts.

Totally agree. I think this is exactly what's going to happen.

I'm not sure if it's unfair, I suppose someone has to be at the end of a tour. Still, it might be two years before they hit the UK properly. And that seems a long, long way away...

Hmm, having second thoughts about my seats. Help me!

The blue dots are what is still available, the red dot is where my seats are.

This second picture is a view from roughly where I will be.

I'm guessing the edge of the stage extenders will be where the two face off spots are, seeing how those seats behind the net come out to make room for the stage.

Am I too far off to the side?

Yes, you are. The risers are going to block out a lot of the stage. You'll have a good view of Dave though.
 
Thanks for the feedback you guys. However I am a little less worried after finding this video from the 2010 concert. Basically the same seats, just the opposite side. And his view seems pretty sweet!


Was at that concert actually. Had floor tickets. Was about ten rows of people back. It was an interesting experience. Loved being that close. Hated being constantly pushed around. Getting elbowed in the back of the head, and people spilling beer all over me by mistake.
 
You guys are the worst. Seriously. How hard would it have been to just lie to me? All you had to say was, "Hey, it'll be great! Don't worry about it."
