IRON MAIDEN ANNOUNCE 2ND LEG OF THE BOOK OF SOULS WORLD TOUR
Following the astounding success of the present leg of
THE BOOK OF SOULS WORLD TOUR, IRON MAIDEN will tour around the world again, promoting both THE BOOK OF SOULS and our new and awesome game LEGACY OF THE BEAST. About this leg, Steve Harris says "At first, we planned to do a small tour, only with selected venues in Latin America and UK. But, since we're enjoying ourselves so much, we just decided to play a full leg again. We'll be visiting some old cities and new friends, finishing with a special tour in the homeland. We owe that to our dear UK friends." About the setlist, he says "We'll maintain the majority of THE BOOK OF SOULS songs, as the stage. But we'll play some songs that are featured on THE LEGACY OF THE BEAST, some classics and some old songs that we don't play in a while. This'll be fantastic, i can't wait to show to our fans what we have planned".
Bruce Dickinson says: "We'll use the ED FORCE ONE to it's full capacity, bringing our concert to some inedit places, like Havana, Kingston and Anchorage. We'll also be able to play to our old friends in the Middle East and South Korea in the middle of the european part. Since the majority of the european tour in 2016 was festivals, we plan to play some intimate shows on this part. And, for the first time, we'll use the ED FORCE ONE on the whole european tour. So, wherever you are, our plane will catch you".
Adrian Smith completes: "We already have some songs ready for the next album. It's very exciting to write on the road, i think we'll be able to release a new album really soon. Hopefully, very inspired on THE BOOK OF SOULS."
To finish, the american part of the tour - both north and latin - will have, as very special guests,
JUDAS PRIEST. Rob Halford stated "It's a personal dream of mine to tour with IRON MAIDEN again. Our fans can wait for a massive metal fest". In the other venues, the opening act will be
GHOST. Except in Hamar, which will see
SEPULTURA.
