The Marvel Thread (Spoilers, and language!)

I quite liked Jessica Jones.
It was different than other Marvel stuff, had a very creepy tone.
Agree the climax was somewhat lacking.

Daredevil was heavier on the action, but Jessica Jones was heavier on the characters, and I found myself more invested in Jessica and Luke and her adventures than in Matt and Foggy and theirs.

But the climax was a little weak.

I can agree with that, plus Jessica and Patsy had more of an arc than Matt and Foggy.

Just started watching Season 2 of Agent Carter.

So far, I find it to be significantly better than the Agents of SHIELD arc of the current season. Peggy is a well-developed character, and her associates are just as interesting, diverse, and dynamic. The story is very tight, and moves at a quick and enjoyable pace.

The new enemy appears to be some sort of female supervillain, and she has been fascinating so far, playing her powerful husband as a patsy for her own advancement. A real rival to Peggy.

What I find sad is that this show, which is at the least the equal of Agents, gets a significantly lower viewership. One can only point to the fact that comic book nerds just won't turn out for female-driven stories, which might explain why Captain Marvel keeps getting pushed back.

Story was solid but I thought the ending was a bit anticlimactic. Fighting scenes were a bit clunky, too much fast cuts and shaky cam IMO. Cast is really great though.

I think AC would work better if released on Netflix, if you could binge the whole thing in one go. AoS has the advantage of being set in present time, and while it doesn't affect the movies, the movies affect it. AC's disadvantage is that it's a prequel. Personally I don't mind but then again, I watch and like everything Marvel Studios does :)

I have two episodes left and I really love it. I love SHIELD and I think it just keeps getting better, but there's something wonderful about the period setting of Agent Carter. Plus, Hayley Atwell and Brian D'Arcy are simply fantastic together. Enver Gjokaj is also awesome.

I would love to AC on Netflix, if only to guarantee that we'd get more episodes.

I actually sat down yesterday and started Daredevil S1 where I'd left off many months ago. Now about to start episode 10 and loving it. I got a surprise when I logged on and it said, "Season 2 now available!" Still planning on watching Jessica Jones in between DD seasons.

Daredevil season 2 is great. Much better than the first one, which was already very good. It's impressively even. Kept me interested from start to finish. Great use (and portrayal) of Punisher and Elektra, they didn't feel crammed at all.

Only bad thing is that it's probably gonna be 2 years until Season 3, unless Marvel/Netflix decide to do 3 seasons per year.

Just finished Daredevil 2. Didn't like it as much as the first season but still very good.
