The Marvel Thread (Spoilers, and language!)

As of right now, the last movie announced is Inhumans in Summer of 2019. So, that will be the end*

*meaning that Phase 4 will begin in Spring 2020

I predict Loki and Lorelei working with Thanos
Sadly I doubt an AoS character will ever be a big factor in the movies, or that we'll ever see Lorelei again. It'd make sense in storyline terms, of course.

Thor: Ragnarok will definitely be connected to A:IW1, and yeah, Thor crashlanding on Earth after destruction of Asgard would make sense to me too. I doubt anyone except for Loki and Thor will survive that movie though :(

If A:IW movies follow at least some stuff from the comics, I'd predict that Loki will either take over Dr. Doom's role from Infinity Gauntlet, or Nebula's.

You don't think Skye will play a part in Inhumans? They'd be stupid not to put her in it. Maybe she won't be the star, but she's still an established character.

She's like the only one I can think of that has the potential, not counting Coulson of course. And I'm not sure how much of the Inhumans movie will take place on Earth since it's gonna be about the Royal family. Of course it'd be cool if she appeared, but I'm not expecting it.

I don't want to agree with you, but Ron Swanson just looks so damn sure of himself...

Plot of Captain America: Civil War revealed!

And it was a great movie. Similar in tone to GOTG but still refreshingly different compared to most other MCU movies. Great performances all around and a killer post-credits scene. Now 10 months of nothing until Civil War :(

Awesome! I'm seeing it Tuesday. :D

In the mean time I still have Daredevil to hold me over. Halfway through the season now and it keeps getting better. Really excited for the other Marvel shows coming up. Will probably start taking a look at DC's TV/movie universe too when that's over.

I'm down to the Daredevil finale.
Well-drawn characters and not very super-hero-y.
I'd recommend it.

I just finished Daredevil. Really amazing stuff, loved it. I can't wait for season 2.

Wilson Fisk is by far the most interesting villain Marvel has put on screen so far.

Vincent D'onofrio is a master actor, and he shows it with his detailed and in-depth portrayal of Kingpin, who is anything but a one-dimensional villain.

D'onofrio was outstanding.
Best Marvel villain. Even better than Hiddleston's Loki.

Oh yes, I'm very excited for that.

Something cool about Daredevil that I just thought of: he's one of the few MCU characters to have a secret identity. I like that they're only using the secret identity angle for certain characters, rather than it being an obligatory thing.
Getting rid of that with Iron Man right off the bat was a great move for example. It makes it more meaningful for characters where the secret identity plays a big role in the character, such as Daredevil and (later on) Spider-Man. Rather than being a trope that you expect every character to deal with, it is the exception to the rule in the MCU so far. Really good change of pace I think.

True. Thor is Thor (his secret identity became Natalie Portman's ex), Cap is Cap (he can be recognized on the street by random former military service members). Vision is Vision, etc.
