The Future Past Tour 2024

Can anyone explain when - whatever local time - IM takes the stage and ends the show?

I have to figure out a tricky mass transit situation and these details will be important. Thanks in advance.

p.s.- I’ll be going to the November 9th show in Newark.
Prudential center and ticketmaster says 7:30pm

Usually 8:50 PM.

However, sometimes curfews differ (the usual one is 11pm) and they get on earlier.

I watched some previous performances of songs from the current tour - and is it just me or the synths during Heaven Can Wait in 2003 sound great and better? As if from the album. I also I couldn't help but notice now Nicko's great performance (so good song for drumming) and Adrian's great version of his solo.

Give Me Ed was such a good tour setlist-wise and the ring for the backdrops is still cool. Colorful stage.

Nicko's drumming on HCW from 2008 makes me sad. Because it's explosive. The fills into the chorus are crazy.

It makes me sad, because it's so noticable how much the stroke affected Nicko's right hand. Also, if they play something from SIT next year, it shouldn't be HCW, simply because it's the track that is affected by Nicko's stroke the most.

... I also I couldn't help but notice now Nicko's great performance...

I only fully realised today that I treat Maiden differently than other bands: Usually, if a band has a drummer who can't reproduce what's on the album, I say that's not a good live band - regardless of why he can't do that.

I think the band sounds better now than at the beginning of the tour and maybe last year? Yeah, some songs are tough for Nicko and Bruce (always were), but they sound nice/good enough imo. The choices and set positions should be more careful, that's why some of them are even tougher.

Re-about the performances - the 2008 ones indeed will always be one of the best. The SIT songs were for this tour (especially Heaven Can Wait).

Maiden made a reference to ''The Angel And The Gambler'' with the post about tonight's show. Things you like to see and be surprised by! :p

Full show from yesterday in parts on this channel. The quality is good.

The band seems to be on fire. Like I said, Nicko has no issue with fast songs, he'll just omit or rather simplify most/some of the fills. The precision of the groove is not there though. Alexander, Fear, Writing (hits) and the overall playing seems faster. Nicko adds more fills in Iron Maiden (bass and drums part), Prisoner, Alexander, Heaven, Fear, Trooper, Wasted... he attempts better them. Adrian with a great licks for Writing, Days and Prisoner solos.

The chorus of Days and the pre-chorus of Hell On Earth are not easy for Bruce. It's odd how new songs (Time Machine, for example, the higher singing) is a bit harder for him than some old songs (CSIT, for example).

Such a smile on my face. :) I love this tour and setlist.

Some people in the comments complaining about the setlist. Why would they wanna hear the same hits on every tour?
I guess Fear of the Dark, The Trooper and Wasted Years is not enough.

Because not every concert-goer is an avid Maiden fan. Many are casual fans, and the band have to cater to different segments of the fanbase simultaneously, and Maiden are usually pretty good at that. When I see Saxon, whom I like quite a bit, there are more than three staples I want to hear. I understand why The Future Past tour isn't hit-ridden enough for the casual fanbase, but for me, it's a killer set list. For others, it might not be.
