Btw., to those who are going to see the tour early: Some pics showing details from the merch desk would be great.
I got you covered.
I'll try to post pics from merch stands on the first night, although I'm always having problems with uploading pics from my phone here (pics are to big and I don't know if I'll get the spoilers tag right).

I always try to check merch stands days before the show. That way, I know is it worth wasting my time waiting in line. I haven't bought Maiden shirt since 2011 (TFF Paris event shirt) and seen them 4 times live since then. From what I've seen in the webshop, I'll probably end that drought, I just hope that prices are somewhat normal.

Prices? 50€ at least is certain.

Well, I'm hoping for 35€, but wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being 40€ (that was the price last year in Croatia). Of course, it depends how much is venue's cut.

guess we will find out about our predictions in 8 days for the set list and as sad as it is to say, those of us state side may suffer the loss of one or two tracks when they come here next year for a USA leg. It happens all the time and sadly, back in 86 too when they dropped Sea of Madness right after first show in the USA.

It's possible they'll change one of the new songs (like they did for TBOS tour) or some old classic (or a deep cut with it) for the 2nd leg next year, but I doubt it this time - 7 new songs (from two tours) is most likely the max. Maybe for the 3rd leg, if there is one.

Dave, Nicko and Bruce have changed a bit though, haven’t they?
I think they look very good for their age. Bruce, Janick and Steve are always fit and energetic. Adrian too. Dave looks more fit in the recent photos and Nicko is Nicko, same shape for years. Btw, is Bruce with a short hair again?

Last year's tour was so strange. They had to do it because of contracts, but it was so weird to see how they organized the mix of Senjutsu songs and the original LOTB. The pacing of the setlist was totally off, the first half of the show was basically mid-tempo songs, then you have a 4-song encore (or 2 encores) and Aces High as a closer just because they had to keep the spitfire. Definitely one of the most awkward Maiden tours in history. You could clearly see most of the band wasn't enjoying that much having to play almost the same concert as in 2018/19 in a weirder setup, especially after having an entire album recorded for 3 years.

I've seen people say that last year's tour was one of the first visible signs of Maiden aging for real but except for the 3 Senjutsu songs, I just feel like they didn't care that much, and we did see some great performances of those 3 songs. Excited for what a completely different tour can do to them in terms of excitement, 2018 LOTB was fucking great.

+1

2022 LOTB was a strange one and quite a bit below 2019 and especially 2018 in terms of most aspects. I felt the same about 2016 and 2017 TBOS tours, but to a smaller extent.

Hopefully the new set qnd stage design rejuvinate them a bit as they did at the beginning of LOTB.

I was just joking, as the pictures in the link I shared only featured Janick, Adrian and Steve with other people, hence my comment about Bruce, Nicko and Dave having changed a bit!

Have any other pictures including Nicko, Dave and Bruce been posted?

I was extremely happy with the 2019 LOTB show I saw and also converted two new, younger IM fans. I think you might be right, all the videos I saw of the Senjutsu songs sounded great. I think they, like a lot of us after 5 years since it started, just wanted LOTB to over but they had to do it. I think with doing a bunch of new songs and songs they haven't done in years we will see an energized Maiden this tour.
