Its going to be great because its maiden afterall. Just trying to gauge how great thats all.

I just read the review from several pages back. I'm glad the reviewer liked it, but since he listed no issues or flaws of the album, i'm wondering why he gave it a 9/10. I'm assuming he had to feel it was one of the best albums of all time across all musical genres to warrant a 10/10?

When I saw the 9/10 to begin with, I assumed he'd list at least one issue with the album. Maybe I overlooked it.

I would prefer negative reviews. They make me enjoy the album more. New Virgin Steele is a good example.

I can agree with that. But I kind of liked 6 songs. Not bad for a 35-40 minute album. What I'm trying to say, I would have hated it altogether if reviews were positive )

Do you guys think there will be a video to speed of light? like we had for all the previous singles? Or do you think Bruce's illness right after recording might have hampered the production plans and we would only get the audio?
 
Maiden never really liked video clips.The song could have a video without them appearing in it!
 
I don't think the band has been in a video since Different World, which was just live in the studio. So unless they did that again I'd say that if there is a video it won't feature the band.

I think their coolest video ever is Can I play with madness. However I don't care much for song video clips in general...at least not anymore. Rainmaker could have been cool tbough if it wasn't for the weird lady laying down an egg.
 
haha i just got finished watching the rainmaker music video less than an hour ago. I also recall seeing it on mtv2, along with wildest dreams, back in 2003 when I was in high school. It appeared on head banger's ball. I remember liking them at the time and I have no clue why I never followed through with looking into IM more back then.

I just pre-ordered the book of souls on itunes and i'll start listening to it on day 1, even if i'm still dissecting the final frontier at the same time. I just can't wait and have to hear it immediately haha.

I'm currently listening to Dance of Death. It's an excellent album and I think it's at least on the same level as Brave New World. It may be better.
 
I don't really know if pre-ordering an album means having it delivered on the release date or not.With the situation here in Greece we are not even allowed to use our credit cards in pay pal or any other electronic service.Anogher awful issue is that here we never get an al um on it's release date.Maybe not even in the same week. Especially during August time (regarding the single).
 
I'd better not say what I think of them,blindg3. Let's just say that deep down inside there is a reason for everything.
