Wow. Love it. And hey, the bass is certainly there, but I agree it is not as high as it used to be.

Nicko's new sycamore maple snare sounds great. Much more of a BNW/DoD/RiR type vibe.

Definitely bluesier than I would have expected, but absolutely Maiden. Love it.

This sounds almost like a mobile recording of some track just playing from the speakers, it's FAR from the actual stereo mix!

That's what was thought when Redeemer of Souls, the track, was first released.

The start of the snippet definitely sounds like the end of an H solo, and just by that tiny taste, it sounds like it's going to be an awesome one from him! The sound is an improvement over what it was on TFF, and Nicko's snare has more of a "deep" sound than is normally the case for him, but I'm definitely getting good vibes from that short clip. I just want to hear the full thing now!

Yep, and it turned out to be the actual final mix! As much as I love Redeemer musically, sound-wise it is like a glorified demo. Very poor for a band of Priest's stature. The sound on that Maiden snippet sounds better than Redeemer's mix in any case!

Great snippet of album. Just what we need right now. I see that snippet on Blabbermouth - and it seems like haters are awake, especially with their ignorant commentaries that most of the maiden songs have a repetitive choruses. And those maidens don’t do any new or decent in last two decades. Shameless people who said things like that.

Bearing in mind that 1) The solo is H's and 2) H always plays the ONLY solo in his songs and 3) H never played up to now a third solo in any of the reunion albums,

I'd also say Speed of light.I don't think they want to give away any of the other songs.
