Singles, classics, and the focus of set lists

Then we're getting it sooner or later. I think Maiden will never be disbanded per se, there will be a time when Maiden stop the normal album/tour scheduling and go into sort of a Rolling Stones mode. There's no interpersonal or musical reason for separation of the band members. That time will come in near future, and Harris will be digging through the archives because he'd have no recent material to produce or work with. This wishful thinking of mine is a way how Maiden can release unheard material even after McBrain turns 70. And that would make me happy.

Absolutely. Don't forget band merchandise too. Most fans at gigs have a t-shirt. I'm going to avoid the official website from now on. Don't want to hear that they are flogging Eddie range of deodorants and perfumes next. Plus they usually give away tour setlists and I fear for the selections on the next tour will be very disappointing. When Rod says they're bringing back some old favourites I know he means wrathchild is back in!
