Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

I don't think Kerrang will have a review copy yet. It's a weekly magazine so their review will likely be very close to album release.

Metal hammers last issue was 22nd July so we might get a review from them towards mid/end of August? Depends how far in advance review copies go out and what the deadlines are for printing.

Things that Bruce do are interesting because of his job in Iron Maiden. "Bruce is an airline pilot" - no one is interested. "Iron Maiden frontman is an airline pilot" - different story.

People can be interested in his non Maiden stuff but only if there's clear associacion with Maiden stuff.
It is interesting to an extent, maybe 10% interesting, the other 90% is for the music. But during the last few years, Bruce was talking about non music stuff most of the time. If I am not wrong, he talks for 2 hours about aviation and then sings revelation for 20s.

I am sorry but I did not go through all the posts! Was Bruce asked about the album and he did not answer?

The only thing that we know is that he did not choose any album questions.

According to the people who went to the show yesterday, he mentioned they would be touring Europe next year and it sounded as it that would be a different tour to the LOTB one.

Questions were written on cards before the show. Bruce didn't talk about the new album, except to introduce the WOTW video before the intermission.

I don't remember him saying anything to indicate it would be a different tour. He made a one liner about hopefully being about to do the sold-out European tour next summer (in the context of covid).

In what way is a Biblical story related to the paranormal? I mean, we can consider it to be a book full of made up stories, but I would not class it as paranormal stuff, at least not based on the widespread meaning associated with the latter.
Raiders of the Lost Ark wants to have a word.

Fair enough; thanks for letting us know. A couple of fan club members mentioned this over at the official forum though.

I was quite trigger happy today. I am ready for Senjutsu to come out. A bit too ready.
A NIght Of The Dead black vinyl set was up for sale, and in stock. My mind made a slip and had me believe it was Senjutsu that was on sale and B, possibly, maybe, ready to ship out by mistake and somebody was about to get fired, at which point I ordered and checked out. This whole thing took around three seconds.

Que massive disappointment when I realized I was the idiot, and not the supposed nameless employee of the online store. I hope they read my cancellation email in time....

I fear that's a case of wishful thinking - I don't think he said enough to really give anything away. Don't get me wrong, I'd much prefer a Senjutsu tour, but...

(Quite a few people around me filmed a fair bit so I suppose there could be some clips on YouTube soon).

To be honest, I found the idea of a second European tour in the same year a bit strange (last time they did something like that was in 2003). There’s no doubt they’ll be touring a lot the moment this becomes possible to recover the loss of earnings, but I do not think they will be visiting the same territories that shortly after the LOTB 2022 tour.

I don't think that's really up to him sadly. He's there to make the band sound as good as possible but in terms of having actual songwriting input he'd get overruled by SH on every occasion.
Of course, and rightly so. Maiden is not Metallica and Shirley is not Bob Rock. They know what they want AND DO NOT NEED

You are right. My choice was poor. I should have written "mystic" or something along those lines.
