EDIT: Ah, the choir thing might actually date back to 2015... These days are cloudy when it comes to all this media hazzle from both sides, but at this point everything that raises the Ukrainian morale is a plus.
Slava Ukraini!
But really. What a nation. Putin says that he does not consider them as a real, sovereign country. Well, if anything, they are now. And they won't forgive Russia for like... two generations.
Their will to defend their home is outstanding and Zelenskyy is showing some leadership there. Oh boy. Of course, it's dangerous for him to stay there, but at the same time it's probably a huge morale boost for the defenders. And if something bad happens to him... would it crush their morale, or give them a martyr, a
Clansman William Wallace to keep on fighting for their freedom?
Sure, Russia has a huge military might, but this is far from being a walk in the park for them. Europe hasn't been perfect at handling this, but at least there's a lot of support going to Ukraine from everywhere. We're all together in this. And if Putin is willing to go all the way to the end, going totally mad and bringing nukes to the table, I hope that rest of the world is more than ready to
immediately get together against him.
No-one wants to see that happening, but I'm just saying that if nothing else, a common enemy has united a lot of people at this worrying age of growing dispute and polarization. It's tragic that this needed to happen, but I hope that this will be a lesson all of us will, in a way or another, learn something from.
