It's not just Russia's invasion of Ukraine, it's the beginning of a war against Europe. Against the unity of Europe. Against elementary human rights in Europe. Against all rules of coexistence on the continent. Against the fact that European states refuse to share, namely to divide borders by force.
For the second day the city of Ukraine has suffered rocket-bomb strikes. Tank columns and aircraft are as similar as possible to what Europe has seen for a long time - during World War II and what was talked about "never again". But there it is! There it is again. At the moment. In the year 2022. 75 years after the end of World War II.
I'm sure you can see it - all of you, all of Europe. But we don't see what you're going to do about it. How are you going to defend yourself when you are so slowly helping us in Ukraine?
I will list what has already happened. And for that we give thanks. Sectoral sanctions. The United States, Canada, Great Britain, EU, Australia and New Zealand have imposed exactly the same, sectoral, sanctions against Russia. Especially against all the biggest banks. Against the largest Russian enterprises. Against Russia's access to Western technologies.
But Russian tanks are still shooting at residential buildings in our cities. Armored technology is still attacking, including civilians. Ordinary citizens of Ukraine.
Europe has enough power to stop this aggression. What else to expect from European countries?
Cancellation of visas for Russians? Shut down from SWIFT? Complete isolation of Russia? Recall of ambassadors? An oil embargo? Closing the sky out? Today, all this must be on the table because it is a threat to us, all of us, all of Europe. There is still a way to stop the aggression. You have to act without delay.
Ordinary people can act, I'm sure, in every country of the world, in every European country. Go out to the squares of your cities and demand peace for Europe, peace for Ukraine, stop this war. Come out, go to the square and demand the war to end. This is a right we have. It is your right to.
When bombs fall in Kiev, it happens in Europe, not only in Ukraine. When rockets kill our people, it's the death of all Europeans. Demand more protection for Europe, more protection for Ukraine as part of a democratic world.
Until the state institutions in Europe rush to make really strong decisions, every European in their capital can already come to our embassy and offer their help. Demand also from your governments that Ukraine receive more - more financial, more military assistance. Because this help is help to you. Because this is help to Europe. You are only helping your own self.
If you are in Europe with combat experience and do not want to look at the indecision of politicians, you can come to our state and together with us defend Europe, where it is now very much needed.
You've already been gas blackmailed. You've already been put to shame. You already want to split and divide just as they try to divide Ukraine today.
Protect yourself. Just like how we protect ourselves.
I want to address the President of the Russian Federation once again. Fights are taking place throughout Ukraine. Let's sit down at the negotiating table. To stop the deaths of human beings.
And now I want to address the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Stand firm. You are all we have. You are all that protects our country.
Glory to Ukraine!
