I have seen a couple of photos pop up on instagram of fans meeting some of them in Split.

I know I'm basically alone with this, but the only really bad part is the start of the "jump in the cockpit" part, where he tried to match the studio version. The rest of the song is so much better. I'm generelly a fan of changing the vocal lines (in ways that still make sense for the songs) rather than straining to hell and back to try and hit pitches that are completely out of reach. Some timing issues here and there but other than that? Gave me some Skunkworks-era vibes, which was pretty neat. I'd take a polished version of this over any officially released version of Aces High, any day of the week.

I mean he's not sounding bad - not straining, out of tune, failing and changing melodies, there's none of that, but aces high is all about high notes, intense singing and overall intensity which is completely lost now. Doesn't sounds necessarily bad, just is more like 90s era song

Agreed on all fronts. Probably the reason why I liked it. I'm not a big fan of Bruce's air raid siren era, and prefer the 90s and 2000s.

If they are not going to chsnge it at least move the song from the enchore to the first part of the show.

We are not comparing 90s or 00s to the now version of aces high. For me watch this its like listening blaze singing the trooper or any other song that he butchered night after night. Imposible to say that its great.

Tomorrow or wednesday? When was the premiere? Most of the band was in london a week ago? I know steve and simone usually play together without the band just drum and bass

Edit. Was 13 days ago,time to take a flight next day and reaharse 15 days. Msybe you are right because for the start of a tour they go 3 weeks before the first show.
 
If they do a prodaction run- through in Athens, we will all know what they played immediately. The Metallica rehearsals were audible for miles.
