News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Ozzy's shows (same as Black Sabbath's) have always been way less attended than Maiden's (especially from 2008 until now). That goes for every single part of the world.
Metallica's shows used to be way more populated than Maiden but, aside from some markets, it's not the case anynmore: while Met usually makes larger numbers, the difference is slimming up every year. And let's not forget that sometimes Maiden has the upper hand (France 2025, for example).

Now can we go back to speculating about what other shows are left to announce?

Promoters aren't expecting a sold out, but it should be their biggest show in the country.
Right now sales are basically non-existing, but I'm sure it's one of those markets where they pick up closer to show day
Yah, all will be well, I'm sure.

In further news, I now have a notification saying @Smither quoted my post in this thread but I see no such quote. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.

I quoted it before reading the whole conversation but then I edited and unquoted it because I felt like I was actually replying to everyone and not just you, sorry.

Ahhhh, ok. Certainly no need to apologise. I've just never seen that before and it's happened twice this morning, hence my confusion

I got a similar notification for a different thread. No idea what's up with the software today.

Iron Maiden aren't so big a "brand" in the mainstream media, 'cos they and their management haven't ever been interested in. Maiden is about MUSIC and live shows, not just scandals, addictions, reality TV, and sensational headlines from street press. But let's make that offtop over! I think IM will announce additional shows somewhere, maybe Brisbane? Who knows.

Melbourne GA sold out according to very poor ticket map, some of the first level seating. Second level seating areas has some areas with only 2 to 5 seats instead of 8 purchase limit available. Melbourne seems ok sales. Ed Sheeran had 33500 per night for 2 concerts.

Sydney looks weak, GA not sold out. Whole groups of seats elsewhere not sold according to TM ticket map. Travis Scott holds attendance record of 41,800 for a concert.

Sydney may have sold nearly the same as Melbourne, surprised Sydney GA not sold out though.

At least one show still needs to be announced (unless they forgot to say "no further shows will be announced").

SP 3 is likely again.
Be a major gamble considering how many tickets there are left for the second show. Perhaps another city in Brazil or even a possible third in Japan ?
