Not unless twenty thousand people from Australia are flying over to see it. They only did one Auckland show in 2016 and 2024. They ain’t doing two in 2026.
Hugely popular mainstream bands like Queen and Katy Perry and Elton John typically do two shows in Auckland. Maiden is niche in NZ.
They’re stupid even touring Oceania again this year, they last played all the same venues around Sept 2024. The casuals won’t go twice in two years and there aren’t enough hardcores to sell them out.
That’s what reunion era KISS used to do all the time - consistently tour. After the first two or three tours most people stopped caring and they were doing much smaller venues, one show in cities where they used to do three, or co-headlining tours.
The Future Past tour was massive, and there’s arguably nothing new about this latest same-old greatest hits run.
If they pulled the farewell card they would sell twice as many tickets overnight, but that’s a trick for a few years down the road.

I have seen a lot of comments saying how poor the last tours set was, and FINALLY Australia are getting a hits set, which they haven't since 2008 this is actually attracting the casuals much more, the same ones who moaned about the last set and didn't bother going are now because they will finally see Hills, 666, Hallowed etc.
I think they will do well overall.

How informed are most casuals about the set before the concert? If they knew about the FP set before going, they don't have much basis to moan.

They still did two shows in NZ in 2016 and one, sold out way in advance, show in 2024.
This time it's a saturday night, greatest hits tour (the first in those parts of the world since 2009), with Megadeth supporting.
There will be 2 shows, no matter what.
All depends on how the first night will sell. The same as we thought about the 3rd show in Sao Paulo.

A 3rd show in Sao Paulo would require at least 20k people.
A 2nd show in Auckland would require 5/6k.
Let's wait and see how Oceanian shows will do. I don't think they sell so fast to add more dates; if sales went wrong, they would be forced to change stadiums to indoor arenas.

Yes, there's no chance, 20k on each show would be OK imho. The management scheduled risky big venues and repeated the same places they just visited in 2024, same with EU/LATAM and NA.

Looking at Auckland, general sale is tomorrow, lower bowl looks mostly gone, still floor and plenty of upper left, it will depend how much of the remaining they sell on Friday for an announcement next week.
But they could add a second show at any time, the moment it looks close to a sell out, sitting around in a hotel makes no money, so I think they will add another if thats what was originally planned.
Yeah, but generally for the band with IM history and status, playing for half capacity arenas and stadiums is like making a fun of themselves, especially if we talk about the 50 Anniversary Tour, which was announced as a worldwide stadium tour. BTW the fans' ambivalent reaction on 2026 shows is something that made me disappointed.
