I think they need to update the Iron Maiden picture to reflect the current line-up.

I thought similar, it would be great as it`s local to me,but not sure it will happen as it seems a late call if Maiden have plans already sorted. I`ve seen a few concerts there over the decades including my very first one, Madonna 1987, still got the ticket and t shirt somewhere.

I know they did play Leeds festival before, but I'm sure Slayer at least were also on the bill. Can't see Maiden playing a more diverse festival, not in the UK anyway

I didn`t realise the date was sorted yet , no chance of playing at a mainstream festival. The Leeds festival they have played was the Leeds/Reading one at Bramham.

I think Leeds has different days with different bands, bit like Hyde Park. In theory Maiden could headline one day, have metal bands opening. Didn't play Yorkshire this year. But AEG promoted, Maiden Live Nation?

I've heard strong rumors about 16.5. for Greece, someone in the comments also mentioned 23. but maybe the tour announcement will be on 23. of september.
It's a little bit early to start a tour in the middle of may but the guy who made a post is reliable promoter from Thessaloniki.

The 2nd leg is said to be big, so. And if they have some other plans for the fall after the tour... like in 2014 if the tour ends in September.

Not if they plan to do basically the entire world next year adding in Australia, Asia, typical NA type run of dates and a larger South American tour. The earlier they start the more they can add in
