Will the Asia and Oceania dates be announced tomorrow as well? It makes perfect sense for them to fly from Chile to Australia.

I meant they will not announce the tour dates for asia/oceania tomorrow but at a later date looking at how the tour announcements were done.

But usually at the last statement they will mention like ‘rest of the world dont worry more countries to be announced’ so we will know whether there is any asia and oceania dates.

They don't need pr, especially for SA. Bruce has been teasing big 2026 tour since 2024, so more SA dates are expected (plus Asia/Australia dates in November, 5-6 months, with fewer US shows), and let's not forget that they won't be touring in 2027. The worrying thing is that this break in 2027 is for a reason, and I don't think it's because they need a physical break that much. I just hope it's not another retirement because the magic will be gone.... despite all the comments from Steve and Rod, this is a very uncertain period for the band.

But Steve and Rod said they won't slow down the tours, so it would be a surprise, even now. 3 months per year is like common for old bands.

Playing mostly Europe would be odd for Maiden, the fans in SA are the best, but I guess all those travels are what is the hardest for the musicians. Plus is there still a desire...(Dave, Janick). Small scale in terms of number of shows, not venues.

Ending in Japan also seems quite likely then.

And Maiden did say it will be a very busy year. If 10-12 shows are added today, we have a total of 48-50. Those are rookie numbers. Add another 7-8 shows in Australia, NZ and Japan and we get close to 60. That's more like it.

Maybe they will visit Indonesia and Singapore too. An ideal way from Oceania to Japan.
 
They must have plans for 2027 (recording new music?) for which they want to have enough time.
Otherwise, this huge tour in one year doesn't make sense to me. It can feel exhausting and frustrating to be on the road for so long, even if you actually enjoy touring.

Bruce will be touring both Europe and NA in 2027, wouldn't surprise me to see 50+ shows so he's going to have a very busy year.
 
But cramming a monster Iron Maiden tour into one year and keeping the next year free of Iron Maiden tours just because Bruce wants to tour with his solo album? Doesn't sound plausible to me.

Who knows what's going on in their inner circle, but I get the feeling there are so many dates in 2026 because they don't want to commit to anything beyond then. For the first time their future is uncertain.

Sure, if they want to record a new album in 2027 before Bruce hits the road they could, but that's certainly not their plan with Steve being hesitant on making a new album to begin with.

Spot on for both. The big amount of dates are because of the break, right. Bruce's 1st leg of his solo tour was also 50 dates along with a Maiden tour. The 2026 leg was planned 2 years in advance. Perhaps from 2028, dates will be announced more slowly.
